Choffware Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 Early in the game when I first leveled my merc, I leveled as a healer. This was when re-specing wasn't free. I used Mako the majority of the time. Other than heroics and operations the double healer was still plenty enough dps for all of the leveling content. It might take longer to kill stuff but I almost never died even when doing quests that were "red". I could basically do any quest up until the levels of the mobs made it impossible to hit them... and since I almost never needed to re-spawn I bet the trade off was a wash compared to using Mako with a dps build. What I'm getting at is the leveling content in this game is pretty easy and just about any spec you choose with be fine. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
