Well the title sums it up, the ship droid sells some pieces that come in handy to almost every profession, but for two of them it dosen't slicing is one of them, this gives an unfair advantage to every other crew skill, since with slicing I can't have my robot specialized, please Bioware it's a question of ballancing, you're intencionaly nerfing slicing and that's bad.

Just because things are different doesn't mean it's unfair.

Slicing is one of the most desirable and profitable skills so it makes sense not to give it too many bonuses. It's thermal regulators go for 30k+ while other skills purple mats don't come even close.

If you want everything to be "fair" why not give treasure hunting thermal regulators? etc...

If a crew skill being profitable is reason to not give a droid sensor to boost its critical chance, why did they sell a cybertech one for +5 ? For months, while campaign and dread guard were bis and craftable, crits from cybertech meant huge profit. Not precisly 30k, but more closely to 1 million.

Armomech and Synthweaving have been in the same boat in term of profit since launch which makes sense. They're pretty much the same skill, one for force users the other for tech users. Armor, augments, augment kits. But there's a sensor for the ship droid to boost synthweaving by 5. But not for Armomech. That doesn't make sense imo

The droid always has one crafting bonus with it first and considering all the crafting bonus are already covered by the droid with something that works for that craft it would make no sense to have a slicing bonus as there is nothing to put with it.
