Surronded by enemies

The smuggler is usualy a great class in the past Star Wars iterations.

But unfortunately in swtor the smuggler got short shrift ,Thin story line not enough xp to complete quests.

And so you have to GRIND in a quest driven game,The reason for quests is so you Don't Have to grind.

At the beginning of the story the smuggler comes skidding in to a landing ,where he meets this Skavaak fellow as the story progress he steals my ship and I see it flying off with two Huge engines .Later on two people claim to have added those engines. And Corso riggs is also a associate with skavaak and an enemy as far as im concerned.

Then when I finaly get my ship back theres this women in the cargo hold tellingl me where to go and what to do.

In previous iteration of Star Wars the smuggler get all contacts in the cantinas . why is this woman a former friend or associate of skavak giving me missions . Use the casinos for the smuggler to get missions and cargo tips and quests I don't like former enemies in my ship.

Smuggler are supposed to be free spirits. Not bound to any one port or person they go where the money is,on their own, gathering tips and information from associates in the cantinas and spaceports. Fast and loose , free and easy always on the look out for lucrative jobs. With slight of hand and sheer bravado smugglers make their way across the galaxy, hidden contraband and side kicks in tow.

1) Put all that into spoiler tags please.

2) You are doing something wrong, i never had to do any grinding during leveling, and this was before the +5% guild xp or legacy bonuses. Actually i was always 5-6 levels ahead of current content. (I was 50 on Hoth)

As has already been said, I don't know how you're underleveled at all in this game. Every playthrough for me has the issue of being severely overleveled for any planet after the first and maybe Coruscant (although I'm inevitably 19 when I leave Coruscant, and I think that planet caps out at level 16). I've basically gotten to the point where I only play the class missions on a planet, and the main questline that goes through the whole thing. I'll try to leave one or two where I can indulge in some of the other missions, but it's frustrating to miss out on so much for me (I actually do like exploring the stories and worlds).

Spoilers for the story stuff.

As for the rest, eh, you'll have things you like or dislike in any story, though some of yours seem odd to me. Corso is friendly with Skavaak? They were kind of working together, but then he clearly backstabbed everyone on Ord Mantell. He stole one of Corso's prized possessions and mocks him openly, just a few minutes into your class story. You're reading things a seriously weird way if you think Corso is friends with Skavaak...

As for Risha, I think the story could throw you a bit more reasoning for working with her. The concept of some fabled treasure is a good enough one, but didn't seem emphasized enough for me to want to trust her on the ship I just won back. But the elements are there. She doesn't like Skavaak either and you could use the cash, given your issues with a huge crimelord. If you need a canonical inspiration for that (though you really don't need to, since it makes sense for any smuggler style character), look at Han Solo's desire for cash in the Episode IV.

Not at all sure why you have to contact everyone in a cantina. You do at times, but if the devs made me go to one every time I had to talk to a person, I wouldn't be playing this game anymore. There's enough of running back to contacts or going back to planets I just left as it is.

My Slinger was my first toon and still my favorite. The storyline was awesome imho and the character itself had great oneliner's on hand at all times and got more alien.... ahem .. then JT Kirk! I thought they did an awesome job. I honestly think your doing it wrong.

Thank you for your constructive criticism .

Your knowledge of star wars lore is obviously non existent.

This game is a complete contrivance of supposedly early star wars history and my best guess is their literary license has expired.

Your unwillingness to accept that my experience may vary because im not a follower of a guild and I always play solo as in Hans solo. Except for my so called companion.

And you seem to have an unwillingness to accept that others may interpret the story details differently than you.

To address the experience issue, if you were to do all the solo content on each planet you should be pretty safe. But it is a social game, which is why there are group missions and pvp. If you're trailing level-wise, all you have to do is add in some of that in-between planets, or even just some space missions. Dailies are your friend.

Hmmm space missions heh

If the ship weren't on rails and you could fly free that might intrest me but Nah to limited.

I don't PVP .I learned long ago there is no such thing as a fair fight in pvp.

They will only fight if they know they can beat you, cowards all.

And yes of course you will take offence and challenge me but no dice, Go Fish.

(Devs) And running away is part of an inate system called fight or flight so don't glue my feet to the ground when I try to save myself. And don't stop me in my tracks so they can kill me that's not cricket. (Devs)

I'll admit the smuggler story is middling at best, but it makes up for it with some great dialogue.

As to your leveling issues, that just makes me think you're trolling. Even as a F2P if you do side quests and bonuses there is 0 grind in this game, and as a sub even if you skip half the bonuses you'll be 50 by Belsavis

Well, from experience while levelling up several characters, i can be like 5-6 levels above the quests on Taris, Nar Shaddaa and around 4 levels ahead on Tatooine, but the moment i hit Alderaan its 1 level ahead.

I am thinking they do need to balance it out abit, i mean if i wasn't so far ahead by doing all the solo quests and the bonuses, i would be behind level on alderaan and it really doesn't make sense, its like a whole planet is missing between Tatooine and Alderaan.

Otherwise, the game is fine, though the economy is abit fracked up, but that's a different subject.

As I progressed at lv 16 I could kill lvl 20 regular characters but I ran in to this particular tuff mob that was standing between me and my ship. He had a neat little fire gimmick that killed me a lot I got so angry I hired some one to come help me. Because everyone told me to go Grind up to level ! I did I went to jedi temple to kill imps and still couldn't kill him. Finaly I hired a trooper and that was that.
