Ryva Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Hey guys, I have just returned to the game after a long time away. I re-rolled an Assassin and want to play him as pure DPS/Burst damage. Which tree whould be better for this? Everything I have been reading is pretty much pre-2.0 so cant really tell. If you have any suggestions on how to spread the skill points that would be great as well. Thanks for reading!

Popping recklessness now grants 3 stacks of discharge right away, and if crits are on your side, you'll have your target down in no time. In WZs, they are a solo node killer, and paired with another stealther (concealment or another deception), you'd have a lone node guarder down before they could barely call for help. I'm not as experienced in the spec so I don't have a tree spec or rotation for you though (as it has slightly changed of course).
DarthMaulUK Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Yeah deception is probably the only viable tree after the poor changes made to combat. I run 5/36/5 currently and it deals lots of burst. Also check your health and dots because they will bring you down quicker than a pair of ******s knickers!
IInox Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Yep deception is the way! A lot fun! Check on mmo champion where I have the deception compendium updated with all changes of 2.0 You can check also on mad assassin!
