Nothematic Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Voidstar spawn doors will no longer be active for Defenders in the Reactor and Cargo room if the Attackers have not activated the bridges or brought down the shields. This will allow the Defenders to prepare at the doors before the attackers have access to the area. I take it the deserter debuffs have been removed for this period? Otherwise I can see some troll premades sitting at the bridges waiting until everyone gets kicked for desertion..
Ridickilis Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) That would be impossible. You only get that warning if you're sitting in the re-spawn area for too long. That note suggests that they will be outside the spawn area. All your scenario would do is help the defenders take more time off the clock. So no, I'm sure they didn't feel the need to remove the deserter kick. Edited April 8, 2013 by Ridickilis
jamescloutier Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 What they are saying is that the door at the spawn point is open until the bridge/barrier is down. So there is no reason the deserter debuff will be an issue cause you can freely leave the spawn area until the bridge/barrier is down. This is so that the defensive team isn't trapped while the attacking sprints through.
Seireeni Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 To me it sounds that the door of the spawn area is open until the bridge gets extended/forcefield is turned off.

LarryRow Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 When I read that patch note, all I could think was, "Great, more /stucking."
