dinchydoo Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 me too its like "run before you can walk" and there are seval points that make the player bad +) the only good thing if you had done 3 classes be for the one that your doing now per makeb then leveling them up is a good time (for 50 to 52 any less than 52 on makeb is not a good idea for i did make at 50 when it came out Died a lot)to do so. -)you do not need double xp to get to level 55 as I have done with out double xp if you do all the flashpoints with the social points and h2 + 4 at the end of chapter 3 with very little warzone done(valor 30) -)the cost of leveling up so quicky a lot more to the planet that you are doing -)crafting items will not be use full and to send you company out will cost more for higther levels -)solo gamming become more easy and less interaction will occor taking a way from the start of SWTOR was ment to be a social playing in groups and leanig how each class works with other classes or the same as you that might play diffrenty as to you or the skill tree that who picks what as well as gear type -)lack of warzone experince or group (H2+4)with leveling to fast has made level 55 warzones more on verygood or an absolute shambles with many pulling out at a wim dew to NEWBIE not knowing how to play the game or going of tanking like on the story mode.................. would like to see a weekend....crafting , gathering i.e. a plenat that has Grade 4,5 is now 5,6 for that weekend..so crafter can do stuff as well as double the amount that you pick up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This way, those that like it can perma unlock it and those that don't can leave it off. Of course, if they did this then they would lose sales on xp potions so that probably will never happen. Koolthulu Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 i started playing again after almost a year and started a new empire warrior... the thing is that i just arrived on balmorra (which is for lvl 15 minimum) being level 23... which means that the quests are no challenge at all and i'll have to rush through to continue on nar shaddaa next time you do a double xp weekend give me an option to switch it off please Yeah, I've never gotten the mentality behind wanting them. Get to level cap faster so they can complain about there being no content, I guess. Anyway, I just play other games when these weekends happen. I had left a level 5 on Hutta that I started as a companion for my daughter's Sorc and I wanted to get that toon to the same level as hers before she can play again. The toon was 13 before i left Hutta. Levels are coming so fast that I can't keep up with skills even at low levels. Too bad the credit given per quest was not doubled like the XP was. I've highlighted the point i'd agree on here. if you have legacy 50 it is assumed you are a subscriber, and that you have a bazillion alts. Both of which are viable reasons for making this double xp a legacy unlock. I have a bazillion alts. I've done the stupid planet quests a bazillion times. I don't want to do them again and amazingly! i can now skip them because double xp. Make this a legacy 50 unlock available to subscribers. Maybe then we'd finally have a reason to be legacy 50. Honestly. *shakes head* I think some people would bish that the sky is blue, or water is wet. Got my Jugg from 36 to 55 and sorc from 50 to 55. I mean what does it matter that you're out leveling the planets? If you're playing for the storyline.. then keep doing the quests... If you think your character is overleveled, nerf them with lower level gear or don't assign your stat points. Personally, there's no problem in it for me, because I can power through areas I haven't played before. If you really don't want to skip through everything, just don't. I gruelingly played through every quest on my new toon even If I was level 15 by the time I got to Coruscant. With the double EXP, I got through in half the times it took from before, but I didn't miss out on anything. Eventually the double EXP will be leveled out; I can see my higher-level superiority wearing out. If you really have a problem with double EXP weekends, play something else during them. Most people won't keep up their credits and commendations with their levelling pace. After each double XP weekend I see people in level 40 flashpoints with level 10 gear/mods, and without half of combat skills "because training is too expensive". Buck that. Give them time to gear, give them time to get credits for training. Agreed, the problem is that large part of the content here is a group content, i don't blame people for absence of tactical thinking ,but i can't understand when players cannot utilise their own class abilities/advantages thus making this content harder for their groupmates. The main purpose of lets say "slow" leveling is step by step teaching players to utilise their class abilities/advantages. As for me this weekends are crafting ah browsing weekends.
