tman_ac Posted April 5, 2013 Author Posted April 5, 2013 Guess it's only us Europeans who are confused. We moved our clock 1h forward last weekend, so basically it's not yet 6 pm GMT. Meaning 1 more hour.

EVERY double xp weekend has started at 1pm cdt. this means it is starting in 45 minutes, just like last weekend, and the one before, and the one before. FAIL
Lord_Karsk Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 How stupid of me to think that European servers would actually run EU time. Its always yanke time huh.........

FAIL Well, us Europeans moved our clocks to summer time recently... I guess Americans don't do this?
ElQuesoGrande Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 (edited) It's actually very stupid of you since the vast majority of players are in the US and it's the company's main operations are all run in the US. How DARE they go off US time. haha Edited April 5, 2013 by ElQuesoGrande

Coldin Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Well, us Europeans moved our clocks to summer time recently... I guess Americans don't do this? We already did that.

I'm saying this in a nice way, if i were to be honest your mods would ban me... Completely false. If you kept up to date with game-related news you'd know that by far the most populated servers are the american ones. having the same number of servers doesn't change the fact that ours have more paying subs. it's possible that your servers have the same number of players but most of their money comes from the US. Don't cry about it
ElQuesoGrande Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If I was playing "Doctor Who Online", or "Tea and Crumpets Online" I wouldn't complain that they ran things off of GMT

Darth_Moonshadow Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If I was playing "Doctor Who Online", If there was a Doctor Who Online game, I wouldn't be wasting my money on WoW, SWTOR and DDO.
ElQuesoGrande Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 (edited) Once someone refers to us as "yanks" and then proceeds to spout off false information like "There are as many euro players as american players" the gloves are off. He was completely false and I simply countered his ignorance with a troll. Also, there's nothing arrogant about pointing out that there are more Americans playing the game. It's just a matter of fact. I never implied we're better at the game, just that more of us play it Edited April 5, 2013 by ElQuesoGrande
Lani Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If I was playing "Doctor Who Online", or "Tea and Crumpets Online" I wouldn't complain that they ran things off of GMT If it bothers you, pretend GMT is UTC.
