How do I get more orange schematics for Armormech & Sythweaving?

I want to prebuild some PVP sets for low level toons but storing the mods, enhancements

, etc. takes a lot of space. I figure I could reduce that by loading into gear sets.

 

However, my list of orange schematics seems spotty. How can I get more of them?

Crits from missions or the GTN.

Lots on GTN under crafting schematics. You can find some really nice bargins and cheap items here.

When i was crafting to prove a point that it can be profitable while being fair on the prices, i was able to get alot of the orange schematics from underworld trading, from what the other said...crits from missions or the GTN.

under world trading crits give orange schematics for both crewskills. i would recommend doing the tier one missions as these will give the lowest level schematics, takes the least amount of time to run and costs less.

 

also you can get the ugly cartel orange gear real cheap on the gtn too. that may be a faster option and can also be cheaper.

Just be aware that putting a mod/enhancement into an Orange shell will generally bind it to you (which may not be an issue if you use a BoL item to shuttle the Item Mod around, but if you /don't/ have one of those...)

 

But just echoing what other people said about buying them off the GTN. I filled in a lot of holes in my schematic list just by checking it for low-priced schematics nearly every day.

Improving the affection level of your companions will mean that they crit more often and sometimes provide a custom quality recipe.
