Nightmare Council Invites all Guilds to a discussion on Merge

Hi all, Im the PR Officer of Nightmare Council and the leaders of our guild have come together and decided that we would like to invite the guild masters or a appropriate representative of the guilds on APAC into our team speak client to have a chat about where the community is going to end up.

We really think a organized type of approach to all this will really benefit the APAC community and having some of the major guilds (all APAC guilds are welcome ) come together and show leadership in this regard will help as keep the tight knit community we have worked so hard to keep.

The proposed date and time will be the 31st of March (this Sunday) at 4.00pm server time.

The purpose of this meeting will be to try and work out a unofficial APAC server in the states, we know that some guilds have already stated their intentions but there is still a few that are yet to decide.

If any guild members in a APAC guild see this please pass this on to your leadership team so we can get a solid representation on the day. We will limit this to the GM or if the GM isn't available a rep of that guild please.

To get our team speak details pm me on the forum or if your on Master D msg Maban and ill provide it.

Lets show what kind of community we are to APAC and the states :D

What is there to discuss really? I thought that the decision has already been made. The APAC PVE server merges with The Harbinger, APAC PVP goes to The Bastion and the APAC RP players go to Begeren Colony.

If your a guild member ...

It's very nice of you to start preparations for moving to NA servers this early; both in organization and grammar. I have no doubt APAC players will be greatly appreciated by their new comrades in arms.

I'm glad you picked up on my grammar in this post. It is much more important then looking at the issue at hand.

May I make a suggestion you should move to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com or http://www.riftgame.com

Your suggestion has been taken on and quickly dismissed.

This thread is to organize a discussion so we can work out where we are going not if your unhappy with the decision

You proposed this meeting for Easter Sunday, you probably won't get as good a turn out as you would like.

THE JEDI ORDER Community of Guilds has about 1200 members on Begeren Colony, a good chunk of our members are from Austrailia, Philipines, Singapore et cetera.

It is a PST server, so closes US server to you all.

And there I thought Aussie's had a taste for sarcasm.

It's looking more and more likely that most Guilds are moving to the pve server.

So this meeting might be moot.

At the time of posting there wasn't many confirmed guilds going to harbringer or bastion and a fair few undecided.

If leaders would still like to talk then they are welcome.

I really liked your post in it's tone kinda okay we have to deal with this as it is happening lets try to stay together so that we still have some kind of community. It was refreshing given the angst that has been going on. I am on the Harbinger "PvE server" and on our server there are already a few PvP guilds that are saying they are going to transfer over "and are being welcomed in there own strange pvp fashion sigh". I want to say that I was a refugee from another server that was mostly dead in fact most of the people I have met have come from somewhere else kinda like a server for refugees. I can only speak for myself and those I know but we would welcome anyone who wants to come over. Good luck on your move know that other players are hoping you find a good home.

Now i don't know your age or how much you are into SWTOR,but in my humble opinion some of you guys take this matter too seriously,it's easter and i think many people, including myself prefer to spend their sunday with family and children rather than stay in front of a computer and talk about useless topics,BioWare already made his decision and just cope with this,i also have some characters in one of the APAC server.

All this officers/commanders or wathever is taken far to seriously by some of you, just enjoy the sunday and take everything as it is,a game;)

Umm my understanding is that they want to talk about which server to go to so that they can retain some of the community bonds they have. They are not as many of the other threads are trying fight said decision. But hey maybe I read that wrong
