Face Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Don't get me wrong. I love this Malak set. But can we get the helm to have a voice mod to make it sound similar to the way Malak's voice was modified? It was very disappointing to find out that it didn't change your voice at all. Thanks.
Twickers Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Malak had a voice modulator since he was kinda missin....ya know his entire lower jaw? His mouth covering was literally just that, a mouth covering to disguise the fact that he was missing half his face.
LordMalic Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 They should have done their research on this one. Since Malak really didn't have a lower jaw and was implanted with voice module. Big Fail on this one!
YoshiRaphElan Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 The only reason his voice makes that sound is he has a vocal modulator built into his throat after his jaw was sliced off, so he could continue talking. But yeah, that would be pretty sick if it had that.

Big Fail on this one! There is no fail on that part since the modulator malak had was in his THROAT not the CASING, if you played KOTOR he removes it at one point and talks without it, guess what? Still had that fancy modulated voice without the casing
Kneemo Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 ..... so..... why can't it be that our characters sound like that with the jaw for the same reason? just wondering.

Big Fail on this one! A Big Fail? Did I transport back into the 90s? I am aware he was missing his jaw. I still think it's a letdown that all you hear is your normal voice. For such an iconic piece of armor they could have done something with it.
Koyaanisqat Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 ..... so..... why can't it be that our characters sound like that with the jaw for the same reason? just wondering. Because it wasn't the armoring that allowed him to talk like that. The armoring is literally just a piece of metal to guard his opened throat where he lacked a mandible.
Pscyon Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 (edited) This has been addressed here and judging by that, I don't think any kind of voice modulation will appear on the jaw casing unfortunately. Edited March 29, 2013 by Pscyon
