Items We Would Like to See Added or Improved Upon

I would love to see a customizable armor coloring tool/ability/kit. Since it is apparrent that the game has the capacity to match colors in the chest piece, it would seem to me that a tool could be added to manually select that color scheme. This could be a Cartel/Legacy unlock item or schematic based. This would allow the Jedi characters to actually have a black robe/armor like Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi.

Another thing I would like to see is the ability to obtain/purchase a new ship. Looking at the space missions (i.e. Fondor Escort), it appears that the Republic has obtained some of the enemy's ships. Why not allow their top heroes to command them? Of course to keep the sides from shooting at their own ships, they would have to be repainted.

The Jedi Consular armor selections could use some improvement. They currently seem to be a bit one sided giving them a diplomatic regal appearance fitting a Sage. But what about the Shadow path. One simple solution that would help dramatically and still provide class distinction is a hood and veil combination (with only the eyes being visible). This with some darker (black preferably or midnight blue) colors would liven up the class a bit.

These are just a few ideas. I am interested in what others may think as well.

That would be cool. If I recall correctly, Vette (Sith Warrior Companion) gets white officer's outfit somewhere along the way.

Another thing that would be great to see is having these Cartel Only gems become craftable. All they would need to do is put the crafting schematic in the Cartel Packs. That would keep people buying them as they would be highly marketable on the GTN.

Ok it has been a while since I have come across things that really have stood out as missing from the game that would be really cool to have (especially with a lot of the recent release addressing my previous wants). But recently I came up with a few more ideas I would like to see:

  • We need more Black/Black dyes. This has been an extremely rare drop. Right now there is only one on the GTN for the Shadowlands server and, naturally, the person who put it up for sale is price gouging {Correction: greatly inflated the price}(not that I wouldn't have done the same lol)
  • Also can we get more color combos in the dyes (for example we need a Dark Gray/Black and Black/Dark Gray like the Marauder's Foundry Coat
  • I know this is a long standing wish for many Sith Warriors, but can we please get a light side romance for Jaesa (after all she is no longer a Jedi and is more like a Revanite). The story ending does leave it open for that to happen.
  • Now that we have the Appearance Designer Kiosks, why not adapt them for our companions to use as well. I have always liked that the game gives some variation with regard to the companions, but having the kiosk include them would realy liven up any major hub areas not to mention give us the ability to personalize our class stories even more (not to mention more money for Bio-Ware)

"Price gouging" only applies to necessities, like bottle water after a natural disaster. It definitely does not apply to dye in a computer game.

I think you missed my point. When the dyes were first released, there seemed to be a greater variety available for purchase. Now some dyes are completely missing from the market or very few are available (such as the Black/Black dye and the White/Red dye the latter having been missing from the GTN for 3 months now) making them unattainable to the average player because there isn't any market competition or because you would have to spend quite a bit of real money to acquire (assuming you could even get a dye pack to proc what you want or dyes of equal value to the current market rate).

Personally, I am fine with people trying to get more credits because at the moment they have a corner on the market. But when there is only one available only one can buy it no matter the price tag. And the example I was refering to has been on the GTN for about 6-8 weeks now.

The bottom line is there aren't enough of the premium dyes available thus indicating the proc rate may need adjustment. Either that or a new system (such as expanding crafting of dyes) needs to be implemented. Or they could even put dye schematics into the packs instead of dye packs. This way the market availability would increase, pricing would have the potential to normalize, and it would still build real cash revenue.

One item that I discovered last night is that if an armor item states that it is class specific (example: Sith Inquisitor) you cannot equip that item on your companion even if they technically would fit under that description. While this is a minor issue, it can be annoying. It seems that there should be a way to put a line of code in the companions to assign them to a specific class for your faction so as to allow the armor to be usable. Edited by Velorek

There is a glitch in the Traditional Nylite Vestments when used with Revan's Mask where the mask shows through the hood. Please fix this as it really ruins the look.
