CetanSZ Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 One thing that always made me curious, is why Republic Zabraks and Imperial Zabraks are so different from one another. They are the same race, right? If so, why are they so different in appearance? Tattoo styles, eye colors, skin colors, hair colors, horns (Dulled tips vs. pointed tips), facial structure... Is this like, a canon difference in appearances, or is it just to keep the Imperial Zabraks looking more "evil" compared to the Republic ones?
QuiDonJorn Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I'm curious to this as well.. SW experts, wanna field this one for us? I always thought that Darth Maul was just supposed to be tattoed, which is why his face was all red and black.. I think they added (made up) some other reasons for the skin colors later on, dunno.
drfumblez Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Different clans, most likely. I think it's even mentioned in the bio for the species in SWTOR. Gonna need a expert Star Wars nerd though.
YoshiRaphElan Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Different "clans." I believe the Imperial Zabrak are from Iridonia, and Republic Zabrak are from Talus. Hence the Imperials are Iridonian and Republics are Talusian. I think, anyway.
Nucksfan Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 No Star Wars nerd needed, the information on the wookiepedia for Zabrak (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Zabrak) as people above mentioned different "clans" , but also different subspecies. Below is a quote from Wookiepedia: "The horns were one trait shared by the many Zabrak subspecies, which were divided by a number of physical characteristics that differed from subspecies to subspecies"
