The ability to stance dance for Assassins

I know that assassins have greater issues at the moment ( like the dps trees being completely sub-par compared to other classes ) , but i think that with 2.0 assassins should be able to stance dance better than they are now , i mean juggernauts can do it on demand with only a loss of their rage and a 1,5 seconds cool-down , same thing goes for powertechs they can change cylinders with a 1.5 seconds cast whenever they want , their trade off being the cast time, which with a little awareness can be overcome easily.

At the moment assassins have to have a full force bar , and loose it all when they change stances .What I've been thinking is to remove the requirement for a full force bar , and leave only the empty resource pool , or if it is too powerful ( which i highly doubt , since all the dps trees have their skills connected in some way to their respective stances ) , add a 3 second cool-down as well.

Please let me know what you guys think of this.:)

Once upon a time it only cost 50 force and a little bit of time to do the stance dance as it was called then too. What the reasoning was for changing it to 100 force I don't recall ever seeing but I remember thinking at the time it was a rather arbitrary and stupid change.

That is why i think it should come back , i mean the 2 other classes that can do this are able to do it without the huge penalty assassins get for doing it , so maybe with the new patch its time to change it again in some way that is not so frustrating and demanding.

Last I checked, troopers and bounty hunters couldn't change cylinders (stances) during combat.

It's likely they changed the force cost to 100 due to complaints from the knight/warrior community that it cost them all their resources to change stances while it only coat the sage/sorcerer half. More of an appeasement change than a balance change.

Only class that can change stance instantly are warriors/jk. However, when jk/warriors change they lose all of their rage. Shadows/assassins didn't initially could switch spec with at least half of their bar, which became a problem in pvp. I remember people complain about this issue. This of course was back when sages and inquisitors were very op early in the game and the talent trees were different. There was some tank hybrid that was miles a head in op compared to what is on live today. Yes, it's true the stance change penalty was done to bring shadows/assassin inline with jk/warriori and bh/command penalty when switching stances.
