Morschee
Hi all. I tried to find a thread regarding my issues, but couldn't. How exactly does the queue system work? I played DCUO for 2 years (PS3), when you queue in DC, once all players are ready, you all enter the instance automatically once the instance has loaded, no matter were you are in the world. However, I was invited to a group last night and noticed everyone met up in this one spot on the map, I of course went to that part to meet up with everyone, once the leader asked "is everyone here" and we responded "yes", we got queued for an instance. All of a sudden I noticed that everyone dissapeared off my map, I could see in the chatbox ppl were giving instructions on how to do certain stuff, I tried to ask them how do I enter, but they were too busy fighting whatever it was they were fighting and never responded. They obviously cleared the instance and got their loot etc, but before I could ask how come I didn't enter the instance, everyone left group. So how does one enter the instance? I'm use to queing and the game automatically (once all is ready) takes you to the instance. Is there a door I needed to go into or am I just a dumb ***? OwenP
Sounds like you missed the pop-up box with 'Travel Now' or 'Travel later'. I missed it once and to get it back you have the icon near your mini-map for Group Finder, clicking this recovered the pop-up and I was on my way. It should be flashing or lit-up or something when you are in a group for GF. From your experience, the group leader wanted everyone to join the Group Finder together for some reason but normally you just join the GF solo and choose your role (tank/healer/dps) and once the group forms all 4 members you will get the box giving you an option to opt-out (which drops everyone from the group and puts them in a priority listing). When everyone has opted-in you get the travel now or later option. Hope that helps.
Morschee
Thx Owen. I'm sure I must've missed that pop up box then. It's not something I would've looked for, as I expected to just travel automatically (like in DC). I'll check for that next time. Thx again mate!
