So I'm a level 21 Sentinel. I'm trying to catch up on levels as my recommended level for my current storyline quest is 26. I'm choosing PvP. I think it's fun and all but.. I constantly get stunned. Every time I attack any Inquisitors they just lightning the hell out of me. Can barely move, most of my fights I don't even get a hit on them aside from my initial force leap. Just constantly stunned, slowed, and DOT'd to hell. Can anyone give me tips and maybe a link to some very indepth Sentinel PvP guides. I really want to do well, and I try so hard.. I just can't get the hang of it. How can I get the most XP out of PvP?

as you level in pvp, I would first recommend the Watchman spec for 2 reasons:

1) solo queue with self heals = greater survivability (although I forget when you actually get this abil)

2) more interrupts (force kick is on a ridiculously fast cd + force leap cd can be reduced). you need to go 16 and 18 skill points into the tree in order to enjoy this benefit, so it won't help you at 21, but soon...

approach: interrupt sorcs. pay attention to their level and hp. if both are high, then you're probably outmatched on gear alone. there can be A LOT of disparity in lowbie.

speaking of gear, if you're primarily leveling via pvp, then you need to be proactive about upgrading your gear, either via GTN or crafting. I would recommend everything be within 3 levels of "required" and it all be at least blue quality. if you really wanna have some fun, make it all purple and augment (always stack mainstat: str; you won't hit a dr).

that's not a comprehensive guide by any means, but it should help. :D

You must be skipping a ton of content to get that far off in your story-line quests.

PvP is a great way to fill a little extra XP, but consider that at your level, you will be targeted and killed quite a lot. You'll have a hard time beating anyone 1v1 that is level 30+. So don't get too frustrated.

I constantly get stunned.

Welcome to PvP.

This is all about your level and the number of escape, distance closing and interrupt skill you are lacking. Sent's get very good at staying with people, but not till they are in their 30's at least.

Win the match. You will get nearly the same XP as everyone else even if you play poorly.
