Darknsith
I was looking at min/maxing out my Jedi Guardian for PvP and would really appreciate some assistance. DISCLAIMER: This is my first forum post in a VERY long time, however i have been playing this game for quite some time. SERVER: Prophecy of the FiveCHARACTER NAME: Nivanna I've been doing lots of google and researching about PvP focus DPSing on a guardian and I'm already fully WH'd with a couple EWH thrown into the mix, but some questions still remain that's bugging me. I want to improve my character beyond what she's currently at One of the EWH pieces I get on my Guardian boosts accuracy/critical. IIRC those stats are not truly important for the autocrit we have with leap and accuracy isn't as important for PvP either. What I do know is that there is a Consular piece that grants Power/Surge in a very high amount. Now for the record I understand how our primary stat works and that strength is the main, where as willpower is mainly for consulars, however WP also affects all my bread and butter abilities. Is it worth it to purchase EWH from consulars !!ONLY!! in the earpiece and the 2 implants to maximize power/surge gain. Yes i realize I am losing strength in the process, but the gain in WP should mean i'm not losing anything right? any help whatsoever would be greatly appreciated. If you don't want to post it here I understand truly, hit me up with an ingame email to Nivanna or message me directly here....THX a ton in advance
random_kick
Willpower will do nothing for you. You need STR, Power, and Surge. Get rid of mods that have crit, alacrity, and accuracy as long as you have about 105%ish accuracy at the end of min/maxing. The only consular gear you should be getting is the Force Mystic gloves I believe, which have a very nice Enhancement that we can use to throw in to pretty much all of our gear. Take a look at this guy's video. He has a fully min/maxed jug and shows all the stats for every piece of gear he has:

Man even after being off the forums for so long I don't remember the community this helpful. Much better than the sarcasm rats that plague WoW forums. again i thank you for the help. Gonna do some major overhaul. EDIT: He mentions power mods and enhancements. Do you know by chance which mods and enhancements specifically are the best for us? NogueiraA
Power and Surge... ONLY power and surge for PVP.
CharterMonkKent
Power and surge for enhancements/mods. You get the enhancements from the force mystic war hero gloves (yep a sorc/sage piece). You get the mods from the War Hero vidicator's hands. You'll use STR augments since jugg/guard get's a main stat multiplier (plus the extra crit is nice to have since we remove all crit from gear). From there go easy with balancing your expertise, use power crystals for your main and off hands. You may also want to get modded belt/bracer to eek out more power. That depends on how much time you want to spend on this. Overall you will need to buy 20ish extra pieces of gear, but it goes pretty fast. Your goal is to get force bonus damage over 1100 and your crit multiplier around 110%. Here is my juggs dps gear, it hasn't been updated for a few months but it'll give you an idea of base min/max. http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/44ebf162-4bfe-4cbe-a52c-2393ebb6bebb Oh yea, and get all of your STR/END/Willpower datacrons, including the +10 to all stats. Having all of those is like adding an extra piece of gear.
_biddan_
i wouldn't suggest to min/max until 2.0 is released because all your gear will have to be replaced. unless ofc you plan to avoid buying the expansion. Willpower increases force bonus damage and crit chance. You will be hard pressed to reach the benchmarks 1100/110% without all of the willpower datacrons. This actually goes for all classes. Always get your off-mainstat datacrons.
random_kick
Good point. Just don't go swapping WP mods/armorings into your gear in favor of STR, which I think is what the OP was hinting at.
