Most things I find appear to be outdated somewhat so I took a stab at it myself based on what I could piece together. Problem is, I am no theory crafter and I am no min/maxer so I do not have great confidence in what I am doing lol Anyway, I am looking at this build - http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#800rfRMRbcdkczZrckz.2 My main concept is: - Starting points all in Gunnery first, then going up Medic to 31. - Running with Aric until 4x is available - My dps rotations will be making liberal use of bolts and hammer shots on single targets and grenades, bolts, hammer shots etc on multiples. - Support Cell I am still learning mechanics of how kolto bombs etc work so this is all just a starting point. JimmyTheCannon Posted February 17, 2013 Share Posted February 17, 2013 I'd go Combat Medic first. If you're going to heal, get your healing abilities and buffs ASAP. As for your actual build - I'd take the points out of Muzzle Fluting and probably Heavy Trooper and put them in System Calibrations in the right tree. The rest of it is spot-on. I have a few basic rules for healing Commandos in FPs or Heroics: -Pretty much spam Hammer Shot until other abilities are needed -Use Advanced Medical Probe first, before the regular, when a target's health or expected health is at < 80% -Use AMP (AP) instead of Medical Probe on yourself or a DPS -Use Medical Probe mainly on tanks -Layer Hammer Shot in between major heals The rest of your idea was good, though I recommend moving points from the Alacrity boost into other talents, as it seems something I'd rarely ever use. Note that my Commando is only 21, though I just healed for Athiss twice, Hammer Station once, and a Taris heroic today. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've got my Healing Scan (AMP) down to 1.33 seconds cast, prior to a crit, I believe, and being able to throw that and a Medical Probe in just over 3 seconds is huge. There's a point where it's the only thing that will increase your healing output. By all means leave it til last, but the Alacrity talents do help.
