AsheraII
Must be a national thingy then, since here soldiers CAN salute without cap. They're not allowed to wear their cap indoors, but they are allowed (we gladly don't have those stupid mandatory salutes except during specific events) to salute indoors -> all salutes indoors are capless. There are actually even some specific situations described here where a soldier may salute lefthanded instead of righthanded.
A_nonymous
Every single army that has ever existed has done things the exact same way.
Jamagh
Pretty sure that the sergant can't hit you unless you hit him first.
_gideon
What is a head salute? Pretty sure that the sergant can't hit you unless you hit him first. I've seen the RSM swat a few fools with his stick when they were too hungover to march in a straight line. I once got my *** chewed for not saluting an officer on the other side of the street. Gotta love insecure turds like him.

bahdasz
So? They salute indoors ALL the time, too. So what? Who gives a rat's butt? It's a stupid Star Wars game, not "the real Army online". Apparently in the armies in SWTOR you are required to salute indoors, not all armies operate by exactly the same rules you know? But mostly, once again, who freakin' cares? bahdasz
Pretty sure that the sergant can't hit you unless you hit him first. That depend on which army you're in as well, doesn't it? All you have to do is breathe to catch a beating from an NCO or officer in some countries' armies. Edited January 1, 2013 by bahdasz
JediCahlwyn
This is not the US military! One its Star Wars, things work differently. Two if you look at other military regulations, you will find many things different than in the US military. People who think the American way is the only way is the reason other countries dislike us so much abroad. Its an annoying bit of snobbery. Neoforcer
we spell it as Çavuş Which is Turkish for sergeant which i guess the sergeant can kick you a.. for not wearing a cap Edited January 1, 2013 by Neoforcer
ARCCommanderDan
Looking at other animations and such, they probably had someone from the military help out when the game was developed (especially with the Trooper story). But this is Star Wars, and more specifically a video game...they do what they want lol.
