Help with OP AC...

My IA is currently stuck at level 10, because I'm trying to figure out which Operative Spec is best for DPS.

 

Not going Sniper, because the game play would be to similar to my Smuggler. I tend to solo or duo more than anything else, and for now strictly PvE.

 

So help with choosing the right spec would be appreciated

Would have to be lethality.

 

Because u are focusing on pve the other dps build, concealment, doesn't shine as much as lethality, when it comes to sustained dps.

 

There's lots of threads on how concealment ops are pretty crappy in pve

Op is one of "those classes" that suck until a certain high level. You are going to be absolutely terribad until 36. at 40 you will be a temporary god in pvp

This is one of those things that will depend on what YOU want to do since both playstyles do work and work great if done right.

But like it has been said you won't really start getting powerfull until around like 25-35 where you can spec into your good abilitys in the tree and start getting some of your good abililitys by leveling at that time start experamenting with both dps trees and see which one you enjoy more because at the end of the day YOU are the only one that will matter in the end since if you arn't having fun then there is a big proplem.

For me i enjoy concelment the most since that one is all about getting behind and backstabing a target which is always fun for me to watch them on the ground helpless while i finsh them off but i can understand why alot of people have issues with it the rotation is hard to do and getting your stats right is a nightmare since getting into groups and getting gear as a DPS in end game is a big issue and Leath only really starts getting good as you get cull since that add extra damage from your poisons which you are going to have to keep up for dps.

So all in all i found the best thing to do was just go heals until about 25 then try concelment until you can get cull at that point respec to that and give it a try for a bit at that point you should of gotten a fell for all 3 trees and then you can deside on what playstyle fits you and above all else don't lission to what other people tell you about which one is best since if you like one and stick with it you can do just as much if not more then other class's once you get your gear and rotation down i should know on my op i'm doing more the most snipers in dps on my concelment ops since i got my rotation down but i'm doing crap in leath since it doesn't fit my playstyle just rember to always experament and never stop trying new things as that is how you improve and get better.

Thanks for the advice I don't mind the sucking till a certain point. I don't mind not being the best. Little worried that Concealment route will feel as bad as stealth was on my Assassin (basically it felt worthless :/)
