It also doesn't work anymore because Force Strike (the omg-amazing talent you took in Balance at the end) only works in Force Technique and you would be running around in Combat Technique for that spec (the build you're talking about is almost a year old at this point, since Force Strike was changed to only work in Force Technique back in January or February, I think).

The current tank hybrid spec is 23/1/17, though there are some variations within it (the 2 points in Rapid Recovery can be switched to Mental Fortitude to provide slightly better PvP performance at the cost of slightly worse PvE performance; conversely, you could swap out 2 of those point for Nerve Wracking for focus damage in PvP).

Kitru why elusivness? Just curious for your reasoning?

To the OP I would change the two points in elusivness to mental fortude. I realize it doesn't give much of a endurance hike but it is useful. If I follow this right you wish to have a" one type all I need build" and wish to go back and forth from pve/pvp. Well the famous "Backstabing Hybrid" is what kitru just posted. That build will have good DPS in pvp with a fair amount of survivability, as long as you are in combat tech. On the pve side, you can off tank some of the lower SM OPS with that build. But if you wish to be a main tank please follow one of the tried and true Kinetic Combat builds for that. The hybrid spec is seriously nerfed in self healing ability and threat generation.

And if you plan to do DPS in pve being in combat tech is a bad idea, and then your hybrid build is not optimal. The balance builds of 5/5/31 is a good dps build.

Mind the reader- I didn't touch gear. Tanking in pve with pvp gear that has shadow dps mods in it, is a horrible idea. Just a disclaimer. I have read of and know people who do pvp in survivor gear with crit and surge mods in it. Make sure if you do chose to tank in pve have the correct set of gear.

I like Elusiveness because it increases your Force Regen (6 rather than just 2 whenever you dodge/parry/shield) and reduces the CD on Resilience. If you're doing PvP, it's not going to be all that amazing, since, in all likelihood, it will only shave a few seconds off of the CD and maybe give you a few extra points of Force back, but Mental Fortitude is going to provide even less in all likelihood: 2% endurance when you've got 18k hp is only 310 hp, which isn't really going to keep you alive all that effectively. I would rather have a bit more Force and a few second potentially shaved off of Resilience than a tiny amount of hp that is pretty much always going to be less than the amount of overkill you got hit for.
