xNYROx Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Can a properly modded cartel piece of armor have equal stats to stuff like blackhole if they have the same mods? Or is the base completely different?

Comparing the BH armoring peice to the Campaign armoring peice, even though the stats are the same exact number, the tier set bonus is attached to the Campaign peice compared to the BH which it is not.

So the Set Bonuses re what makes people use them if they plan on running OPs?
haliy Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 (edited) well it totally depends on if they need the armorings for the set bonuses or not. Gear like Tionese, Columi, and Rakata dont need the campaign armorings to get the set bonuses. You could take all the mods out of black hole gear and place them in those peices i stated above and still have the set bonuses. But yes, the set bonuses help out quite a bit when gearing your character for ops. Edited December 21, 2012 by haliy
