Good to see some old faces around the pvp Warzones on both sides. Game is still fun though I wish after 1 year they would fix certain things still alas.

Alot of good matches, but seeing a pattern latley with one side already winning (either gear, better players or strat) then trying to add insult to injury with numbers on people they clearly cannot beat 1 on 1.

We Haz Cookies is one of those guilds on imp side, beginning to think its We Haz Numbers and We wish we Haz skill :)

If your losing or winning and you find yourself in 1 on 1 why not use that time to refine your skills and see what you can do instead of getting a whopping once and then saying screw it let me bring a friend.

Do not get me wrong there is no right or wrong then to do in a WZ because, well its PVP anything goes. You wanna fight dirty or with numbers or only with a pocket healer thats your call, but one day when you could have really helped your team by refining your skills pushing yourself to the limit and you do not, I will be there standing over your corpse saying I TOLD YOU SO!

Oh have fun out there try not to take yourself so seriously life is to short, see you in game.

If it was in open world PVP I could understand you saying that but in a WZ where there is nothing about 1v1 in the game design its a team effort. I call incs if its 1 or 3 your better of being safe keeping your node then going omg let me try refine my skills....and now I lost my node.

So you realize they are one of the five "Major League" Rated Warzone teams on the server right? How could they not have skills? And they can't outnumber anyone in an 8v8 but they still are very good. So, please clear up how your statement can be true with the background facts I supplied?

We Haz 9 man queue hacks didn't you know?

Also if I wanted to refine my skills in 1v1 fight against a DPS sage I would do it outside of a warzone against a sage/sorc that is actually good. I suggest you do the same and stop being a liability to your team by running around on your lonesome losing 1 v 2/3/4 fights refining your "skills".

I have a sage that I'd be willing to bet I could beat you in a duel with and I'm the second worst sage on the server(right above Psibre obviously). So hit me up anytime.

That is funny.

I guess I should refine my own post by saying this is not being a liability, but more so just trying to make the best of a losing or winning warzone instead of just making your numbers look better. I will not even pretend to know where I rank in terms of Sages or Sorcs on the server, but gear being equal I would say even the best sages I would go 50/50 with just up to the RNG gods.

Also keep in mind I have just come back from a 6 month layoff and maybe its more of I had hoped the game PVP changed for the better, but not much really has just made some class/spec the must have for rateds now.

Why are skill and number mutually exclusive? lol...Irregardless of sucky teammates, you can still have fun and get big numbers while trying for objectives and being smart about it...

one aspect of the "numbers" part is very pertinent. with the influx of pvp n00bs in recruit gear, i see A LOT of 14-15k players.

in a wz like CW, i regularly check the HP of the defenders. if i see 2 people guarding, and they only have 14-15k hp, i will attack 1:2 without hesitation - basically because I know I can blow one up without problem, while CC'ing the other one, and then taking that other one out, usually with enough time to cap before they can return.

if nothing else, it usually also draws the entire team back to that node, making it an easy cap somewhere else.

Why so serious?

Lol couldn't have said it better myself

90% of the time i don't even pay attention in regs and were probably all trying to see who can get the biggest crit or most dps or something

you really need to relax op

After reading through everything and then putting it all together it also appear it might sometimes feel that way more for me because of the guild tag with a side of playing a sage being more squishy than most classes :)

So yes maybe I should relax, that being said I found a new spec I seem to be doing well with and if nothing else having fun with.

While I agree with the OP in regards to not using teammates as a crutch. I kinda think you are barking up the wrong tree with cookies. Cookies has a lot of skilled players. Their A team most certainly doesn't need to have their hands held.

Ok so let me understand what happened here..

1. You come back to the game after 6 months

2. You hop into your first WZ in 6 months

3. Then get your face smashed in by a few Cookie members

4. And lastly, probably thinking that before you left you (in your eyes) used to be good and all of a sudden get your poo shoved in. So you decide to cry about it on the fourms thinking that it will

-Make you feel better about yourself by blaming someone else for you being bad

-Try to make sure eveyone knows your back and want to get focused.

So help us understand if this is correct when it comes to your thought process.

This makes me laugh so hard and I love people that do not care to post a sig with their Character names or server, maybe trying to hide i guess, anyway to answer your questions

1. Yes

2. No ( this was just one warzone I pointed out after being back 2 weeks already)

3. Yes (it was a cookie member who could not beat me 1 on 1 so called for backup even though the warzone was in hand already)

4. Crying is overated, I never need to blame someone else to make me feel better I feel great always and I already get focused by some of the old school crew (however that respect goes both ways)

Alot of it was more I have never done that (called for backup) to kill 1 guy even though the match was already in hand just cause. Back before I would just keep trying and see what worked or didnt back to refining my skills when I needed to.

So really my thought process was the following

1. If the game is already in hand

2. You find someone guarding or solo and cant kill them

3. You bring help just so they can feel good about killing 1 guy

^ I just do not see the point in that.

Does that help

3 capping, that is the point in that. Why is that hard to grasp? I would usually call it a good play to bring a second person if you know you can't 1v1 someone in a team based objective based pvp match. You don't seem to grasp this, but for some reason Ascendency has some degree of respect for you. That is what I don't understand.

Well to each their own I guess I do not usually even go for 3 cap unless its the very end of the match or they all give up and just hang out in one place and thats just for fun then. As for Ascendency I believe the respect goes both ways and goes back from when we were all on Space Slug. Like most good pvper's we know how to take out first or put pressure on.

That pressure just sucks more on squishy sages :)
