Lag in warzones?

Yes there's lag in the warzones for me too. I think its just the coding/server lag at the moment. I bet there currently working on a way to lower the lag.

Yep me too, I've submitted a few tickets all of which have come back suggesting I lower my settings / defragment my drive (seriously?) etc. Like a lot of people who play this game, I'm certainly not a noob when it comes to things like this. My specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 (OCd to 3.5GHz, this is fine btw load temp is around 50 so I'm not killing it)

4GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM

SATA 2 7200rpm drive (defragmented for the sake of it)

Gigabyte nVidia 560ti 1GB RAM GPU (incidentally I've only had this card one day, before I had a GTX 260)

50Mb (10Mb upstream) cable connection with constant 30 - 50ms latency

I get around 30 - 80 fps when pve-ing and in flashpoints, I get a severe drop when in densely populated cities (drops to around 20 - 30 but is still playable). However, Warzones are a completely different matter. When I had my GTX 260 I was getting 7fps most of the time, weirdly if I dropped the settings to low and disabled everything I saw absolutely no increase in Warzone fps!! Which is very strange, still 7fps with worse looking graphics.

Now with my 560ti I'm getting 10 - 20fps in Warzones which is a little better visually (again no increase in fps if I drop graphics settings). What is killing it for me though is the UI lag, 2 - 3 seconds to respond to commands, players will warp behind me or generally teleport all over the map randomly, my health bar will stay at full then all of a sudden drop to near nothing. It's VERY annoying to say the least!

Edit - actually OCd CPU to 3.5GHz not 2.5GHz!!

For me Alderaan warzone lags like no tomorrow.

Do not why this happens.

Huttball is definitely the "best" of the lot for lag, it seems most playable. Alderaan however is utterly knackered - especially the audio.

Certainly not a noob when it comes to hardware and diagnosing a problem... 4GB DDR2 800Mhz RAM

Well, from pre-weekend betas...it was really, really, bad

like at least a 3 second delay.

It was so unplayable.

good to see it is improving...and I am sure it will continue to improve
