on my scoundrel I just heal through and yawn, while waiting for one of my team mates to kill them. (or I toss a random dot on them to see their health slowing but steadily dropping while they are still busy trying to kill me)

it's also fun when they waste time chasing me around instead of protecting doors or going after the ball carrier or something. theeheehee. (and there are a .lot. of them who think it's more important to kill the healer than to make sure nobody caps the turret :D)

when I'm on my shadow I strike them down.

and if for the rare occassion that I actually face a player that somewhat knows what they're doing... I go into stealth. lol

I usually think to myself.... oh man not another one.

Lol, this. Really gets boring after awhile, particularly since 80% of them seem to have a limited understanding of the class they're fighting. If I'm DPS spec I just grind them down until they blow their defensive CD then heal up while they're protected, then delete them from the warzone. If I'm heals I mostly just CC them and run off if I can (I'm a sorcerer).

Wish they'd cap the number of this class that was included in the group you're facing... much rather have to figure out how to fight classes with greater variety in how they attack you.

Edit: additional response:

Also this. On my healer I love leading groups of faceroll sentinels on field trips around the huttball map. Protip: whoever on your team flagged me as a healer... didn't do themselves a favor, as the "moar dps" sentinels will follow me around the rest of the match, no matter where the ball is. This only works when you have two or more of them following you, but thankfully there are so many of them around, that's generally not a problem.

Engineering sniper. Enjoy your 18 sec snare followed by plasma probe. Drop explosive probe/series of shots. Watch sent/mara force cloak. Orbital strike on myself/bunker for cc immunity, they run in and try awe/intimidating roar. /farewell them, debilitate at 20% and watch them melt. Obfuscate me all you want, my attacks are dots/tech, your best bet if you see a decent sniper who is engineering is run like the wind. Or you can be my free kill, whichever you like. :D

I've killed Sents/Maras 1v1 even as a pure Healspec Sorc. When I spec Madness, forget about it. They are dead.

Fun times: Wait for them to use the typical Undying/Ravage combo. Instant Whirlwhind them, wait 4 seconds, send them to the respawn (because 9 times out of 10, their stunbreaker is already on CD).

It is 50/50 split. The bad Mara/Sent I win, the good ones they generally do for most part.

Though it is fun watching, after I die, they take 4-5 steps then fall over dead. DF spec is fun like that.

I have no issue with a melee in my face, I understand they have the advantage. If I see them and they don't see me, it is a completely different scenario. Though this is the case when a Sniper/GS has that advantage.

Simple: Force push them back to where they were, then I force charge them back.

Juggernaut!

RAWR for great truth!

Today class we will be starting with force push as an appetizer. The main course is force charge with a side of force choke... we will be having force smash as desert.

If I am on my marauder, I kill them 99.9% of the time.

If I am on my assassin, I kill them 99.9% of the time.

If I am on my sage, I kill them 98% of the time.

If I am on my mercenary, I kill them 95% of the time.

I wouldn't trust those numbers if you use bioware's system for getting metrics!

Someone might unsubscribe if you kill them too often... and we don't want that!

Depends on the spec and depends on my toon. When any spec leaps my van, they're in for a rude awakening. Carnage or annihilation leaping my op healer is almost funny because of how futile their attempts to drop me are. On a sorc, I hope they're annihilation and just go to work.

Optimized rage maras, though do seem to just do too much damage too fast to really counter. But that's a pretty recent phenomenon.
