Njessi Posted October 10, 2012 Share Posted October 10, 2012 (edited) Snark Side (REPUBLIC) is primarily a raiding guild, but we try to balance real life with in-game progression. We raid Fridays and Saturdays beginning at 9:00pm EST. We raid for three hours with scheduled breaks about every hour. We finish EC on story mode regularly and are working on hard mode EC. We were able to finish Terror From Beyond pretty quickly on story mode and will also be working on that in hard mode. Although we are raiders primarily, we are not crazysauce raiders. We don’t have attendance requirements or crazy preparation requirements. We don’t expect you to have the best of the best gear. What we do expect is a reasonable measure of effort and preparedness so that we can actually get through stuff given our limited time available to raid. You can read about us, including how to apply, on our website: http://snarkside.com/ We understand that we may have to allow some time for a new recruit to level a character to 50 on Jedi Covenant (although with fewer servers, this is more and more unlikely). We’ve had a few people join at level 1, and level up to 50 from scratch and they were able to successfully enter the raiding program after a short gearing up period. WE ARE SEEKING 1-2 people to fill out our 8-man roster. Because we all have real lives, it is necessary to have enough raiders so that we don't have to cancel raids if someone goes on vacation or has family obligations. WE PREFER: Tank (with or without melee DPS offspec) and/or Ranged DPS (with or without healing offspec). WE CAN ACCOMMODATE: a Healer, with or without offspec. WE WOULD HAVE TROUBLE FINDING ROOM FOR: Melee DPS. With most encounters only accommodating a maximum of 2 melee dps, we just can't take more. (Obviously, a tank with a melee offspec is another story.) However, if you think you're an awesome fit for the personality of the guild, go ahead and apply anyway.
