Can I have pants?

Hey guys,

Just resubbed to tor today after quitting in febuary. Major things that irked me

1) sith inquisitor armor t2 (I forget the names, columni?) looked stupid as heck, is there a new set higher ?

2) I had NO PANTS. While the plethora of dresses available did make me feel like a pretty, pretty lady, I wanted pants! Did they ever implement the ability to yank out stuff from epics and stick it in other stuff so I could put it in some social pants?! MY JIMMIES WERE COLD.

3) Away from pants but...did they make operations any more challenging? Or at least add incentive to do nightmare modes? I.E. different loot actually drops than you find in hard?

edit*

OH ONE MORE

4) XP gain rate was absolutely ridiculous. I could do 1/3 of a planet and be of level to leave for the next planet. Did they lower xp rate? Or at least give an option to turn off XP gain so I can finish planets and no have to go to the next one being high enough level to skip it entirely?

Pro levelling tip: log off in cantina, come back in 6 months.

It's probably the rested XP that's shot you up so high.

As for the operations... at least it's not GW2 where you can literally just auto-attack a boss fight and go have a nap...

Supreme Inquisitor's Legwraps. http://www.torhead.com/item/5yDc9m3/supreme-inquisitors-legwraps

Level 39. You can farm for them, or find them on the GTN. They go for 500K+ credits, prices vary depending on your server.

Newer high end gear, yeah you can pull the mods for set bonus, but not for the older stuff.

actualy GW2 is one of the most challenging MMOs ive played in a long time, the dungeons are absolute nightmares in most of them. The quest system is superb, and this long after release I havnt hit 80 on a single character.

As for the cantina bit, not the case. I had 4 level 50s, 3 in t2 raid gear and t2 pvp gear within the first 2 months of the game being released. And at least 1 companion on 2 of those characters also in full raid gear just because no one needed it when it was so easy to get.

Unless you meant GW2 world bosses, in which case, yes /sleep.

and thanks, Andy. Didnt know there was new higher end stuff, Tionese, Colimni, and erm.....the last set I cant remember were the only ones when I played. Ratsomething?

I completely agree on the pants! I'm trying to finish a Consular, and have been offered nothing but skirts and bathrobes, with weird furniture to wear on my head. Light armor as a whole looks absolutely ridiculous.

yea! Counsular headpeaces look like a comfortable place to rest!

Also, looking at the flashpoint list on Torhead....has there seriously only been 1 new flashpoint since Kaon under siege? That was like 8 months ago, and right before I quit all these videos about all the epic content and stuff they had came out! Lost Island is the only new one I see on torhead D:

Set bonuses for Tionese, Columi and Rakata items are still tied to the shell, i.e. the item itself, so if you replace these with custom (orange) gear, you will loose your set bonus. And they have said they are not going to go back and update them, so they remain fixed. Campaign gear, have their set bonuses tied to the Armoring, so once you start getting Campaign pieces, you can rip the mods and place them in custom (orange) gear without loosing your set bonus if you want.

Also, new since you left, you can apply an augment kit to any armor and then insert augments into them as well.

Is there a new pvp set as well that will let me do the same? Not that I minded the peacock looking outfit, cept for the hat.

SUPER COOL bout the augments! Now it might be useful to take the crew skill for em!

I'll keep picking your brains with questions until my damn game is done updating for the 10000th time.

How bout space?! Does it still suck? They were talking about some big super cool thing they had in store for space like 1 month after release, its been 9 more now!

Yep, like a vacuum. :p

It remains a minigame on rails.

They still teasing with the super secret space project, but we have no idea what it is yet, just a lot of player speculations.

The answer to your questions, my friends, is Social Adaptive Armor.

Start spamming through Esseles or Black Talon and get yourself up to Social II or III, or higher, and a plethora of pants become available.

If nothing else, the pants from the pilot suits on the Fleet or the Balmorran resistance uniforms are good enough.

Best method in-game, IMHO. Good luck!

formal pants on the 2 home worlds only need social 1.... how hard is it to not know this?

Light armor pants suggestions:

Social 1:

(male) formal pants - your easiest bet.

Containment officer armor (if you did the Rakghoul thing)

Social 1 pilot armor (looks smuggler ish but might get cool results if you colormatch). (Also the other pilot armors, but just the common denominator there).

Imperial trooper legs if you have the CE.

Social 2+:

Most planet social gear

Am I missing any?

(Now what I REALLY want is more light-side looking cloth armor for my assassin.)

I'm a bit of a social gear guy, so I think I got them all (then again 11 Social Pants seems a bit thin).

Cantina/Social Pants:

1. Dromund Kaas - Formal Pants

2. Balmorra - Balmorra Resistance Leggins

3. Alderaan - Ulgo Noble Pants

4. Taris - Death Claw Pirate's Pants

5. Quesh - Hutt Cartel Pants

6. Hoth - Hailstorm Brotherhood Pants

7. Belsavis - Prisoner's Pants

8. Corellia - Coruscant Security (CorSec) Pants

Fleet/Space Combat Pants:

1. Civilian Pilot Pants (70 Fleet Comms)

2. Pilot's Pants (70 Fleet Comms)

3. Imperial Pilot's Pants (225 Fleet Comms & Social III)

There's the Rakghoul Containment Officer Pants as well, but since that one was event only and BoP, you either have them or you dont.

Enjoy:)

P.S: The Hailstorm pants make some characters' butts look big:p

War Hero has bonus tied to armoring just like Campaign. Some say it`s quite the grind.

I don`t do space so I don`t know.

1. There is a second tier of gear available from Denova and TFB. It looks worst than tier 1. turns you into a swamp thing.

2. The only pair of pants you can get comes from tier 2 (but has nasty scales) and the Droumd Kaas social vendor. The formal pants, fortunatelly fit most Inquisitor armor sets! You can also get pants as a part of that expensive orange set which is a world drop.

3. Imo new operation in Hard Mode is enough challenging.

4. No, but you got perks that increase the xp gain. It still wasn't enough for me... It's only on the inititial stages that you get a lot of exp, later you need to do more and more on planets.

You are just a poor troll. Really why did you resub? We did not miss you at all. If you like so much GW2 go play that and have your shiny pants on a vegetable or a bunny.....
