BrainlessWhale Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Does anybody else have issues with the textures of this game looking way too low res even when on High? I have everything set to high. I even have bloom on and my armor still looks low rez as all hell. Just a picture to show you what I mean. http://www.image-share.com/ijpg-1780-138.html Any help would be appreciated.

If you looked at the picture you would notice how terribad that looks and how hard it is to go through cutscenes looking at that crap. The sad thing is the moment 1.4 hit I upgraded my graphics card just so I can finally run this game on High :mad:

It still looks like complete crap. I've tweaked everything I could, I thought it was just because my monitor was only 1600x900 so it isn't that great but still. It looks like the textures are on Very Low.

Rigsta Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I was getting this alot along with other graphical glitches since 1.4. Running the launcher's repair function has all but eliminated both problems for me.

JakMezak Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I believe those are simply loading textures (i.e. placeholders). Perhaps the video memory can't hold all of the high res textures it needs to on your rig. Try low res textures and see if the issue disappears.
