jboykin Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 Anybody got any tips for how to kill the elite beast in the cave on Dromund Kaas that Mandalore sends you to kill? The quest is called Heart of Darkness or something like that. My wife and I share an account and she hasn't been able to beat it on her BH and I have tried as well and failed. I've tried using Gault and Mako and neither does much good. She is specced as a merc pyrotech. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LordExozone Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 Position yourself away from Gault. Open the fight with Gault attacking it. Start your own attacks a bit later and use them casually until gault is at <50% health. Then open up to get agro. The beast will head for you, which if you positioned well will take a few seconds. When the beast starts attacking you, you pop your heroic moment ability that lets you and your companion regenerate health and use other defensive abilities but stop attacking it. After a short while Gault will catch agro again drawing the beast to him. At this point it shouldn't be hard to finish the beast off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
