THorsblood
Hello! These are my 3 healers gear sets and skill tree's for when they hit 50 and I get them geared. As such i'd like to make sure that they're decent builds. Sage: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/0de52d5d-e19d-4953-8a1a-70092ebff1b8 Scoundrel: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/83c412fb-32e6-4981-916a-a70ecb6788ee Commando: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/549c7840-3317-40ab-acec-9ae3a23e59e9 If you would make any changes go ahead and let me know along with why. Thanks for reading P.S. I have a similar thread for tanks in the tanking forums! Edit: Keep in mind these are PvE builds that have 1-5 points set aside for PvP utility! Also recurring mods are due to crafting ease, if you'd change them make sure its better for 2/3 at least, otherwise i'll stick with what i have Edited October 6, 2012 by THorsblood
POPsi
For scoundrel I don't see the reason why would you need those 5 points in the 2nd row of the concealment tree... especially in PvE. If you want to do some pvp apart from getting the daily done then probably ok.

CaptainApop
Thats exactly what I used them for Why on earth would any sane individual give up slip away if they plan on pvp'ing.
TheLoneDruid
Why on earth would any sane individual give up slip away if they plan on pvp'ing. By this he means Dirty Escape in the Dirty Fighting tree. Honestly, I use the same build for PvE and PvP and do well in both for my scoundrel but it's a 33/3/5. Give survivability and great healing... (http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/14bc2f52-4c61-4ead-8bd6-0c74355dcdfd) As for your commando...I can't speak much to the PvP as I haven't done as much but I think you shouldn't be getting muzzle fluting or effective conversions. Both are pretty much useless as a healer (muzzle fluting moreso than effective conversions). They would be better spent in Special Munitions or Treated Wound Dressings. Don't do any sage healing yet in end-game so I'm not going to speak to that... You may also want to update your character profiles as they did an update for the modifiable Offhands on Ask Mr. Robot so the stats aren't showing correctly. haksilence
for commando: opt out of muzzle fluting for special munitions. dont take frontline medic, efficient conversions, treated wound dressings, or combat shield. make sure you have 2 points in weapon calibrations. dont take heavy trooper. should look like this http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/skills/Commando#137df0828fe-63e-c on stats, you want aim augments. too much surge, not enough crit. get surge to around 77% but not over 77.5% and tech crit chance to around 45%. rest into power. (if needed take power/alacrity enhancements over a power surge one. or even a crit/surge one) get an eariece with higher aim. you dont want high endurance. haksilence
remember as a comando you have potent medicine, increasing your crit multiplier by 15% so crit is much more important to a commando heaer thatn it is to virtualy any other character or class.
