AshlaBoga
There are many guilds that don't do 16 man content because they don't have 16 skilled players available during the same time slot every week. Making 16 man content more challenging than 8 man content means that people A) dismiss 16 man guilds as being less "hardcore" than 8 man guilds, despite the time and effort we put into Operations. It would mean a lot to many of us if you balanced the 8 man and 16 man by increasing the current level of difficulty on 8 mans. For instance, in 16 man EV there's Kahesh the Reborn who's a champion instead of an elite. By adding a new mechanic to the 16 man fight, you greatly reduce, almost eliminating, the sense of accomplishment we get from clearing an Operation. There's also the 16 man Droid's cannonaid attack which makes the 8 man version look like a water pistol. The following is a conversation that I had almost word for word with someone in general chat: Anon: "Wow, your guild got Server first for Nightmare EV?" Me: "Yep, first 8 man clear, started at 4 am that morning and finished by 7." Anon: "Lol, you cleared it 8 man that doesn't count." If you increase the difficulty for 8 man fights people might actually be less afraid of doing 16 mans, right now you're bleeding subs left and right because the 8 man content simply isn't hard enough. HM EC? HM Terror? You can stop holding our hands and give us something meaty, we're not just ready, we're starving for it!
