Mirmirmi Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 So, I play a shadow speced into kinetic combat. I'm a tank in PvE and am one for PvP too. However, I've seen a few different specs different that the basic standard one I use and I'm wondering about the reasoning behind them. I'm willing to have a separate PvP spec that can give me an edge, but I'm not sure what key talents I need for that edge, which talents to sacrifice for them, and am even a bit unclear over my role in PvP. Am I supposed to focus only on pumping out DPS, focus on surviving and providing a lot of protection, or do these hybrid specs provide a nice balance of both? I've seen specs that don't pick up kinetic combat, that have Force in Balance, even some that go up and get the Force Lift talent in the Balance tree. Should I be using Survivor War Hero gear or Stalker? Does that change depending on whether I'm focusing on DPS output vs. surviving a long time with a guard on a healer?
