Healing op/scoundrel question.

This is not any kind of QQ thread i have both a scoundrel healer (lvl 50) and recently started a sorc healer.

My question is, if there are 2 healing scoundrels on one team they can apply their own set of hots on the target, in total that can be 4 hots healing the target for 3-5k in total every few seconds.

My question is why can two scoundrels place two sets hots on their targets but two sorcerers cannot place two bubbles on one target?

Answer would be of course : because two bubbles each absorbing around 3.5k so 7k in total would be op.

Question is : isnt stacking 4 diferrent scoundrel hots on the same target equally op and unfair ?

Again no qq just something to discuss.

Edit : of course someone can say sorcs can stack their aoe heals, thing is the aoe has a cooldown and requires the target to stand in there while the hots are instant and the target may freely move.

HoTs are a heal mechanism whereas a bubble is a buff. Meaning the HoTs serve one purpose, to heal. The bubble can be spec'd into making your character move faster or when the bubble explodes the enemies around are blind as well as absorb damage. Edited by Master_Nate

The bubble couns towards total healing thus i consider it a heal and the hots appear as a buff too.

I'd think it would count towards protection bracket and not overall healing but that's what BW decided its purpose to be. Would be like asking two guardians for Guard, that's a buff not a heal but it provides protection. Would be OP if two guardians could guard same player. Sorry if it doesn't make more sense than that. This brings up good points though. Such as why does the bubble not count as protection if guard is considered protection and not healing. The ballistic shield of a sniper counts as healing too but why not protection? What defines protection vs healing?

EDIT: As most of my posts, it's just my opinion and it's not to discredit your thread. I would love to hear other responses as well as this is a good question too. This is simply my opinion which doesn't necessarily mean it's correct, just what came to mind when reading your post.
