Zarahemla
I am looking for a guild that will use the "Credit Run" or "Gold Run" or "GDKP" loot system. I have years of MMO experience, and I have found that "Credit Run" loot system to be the most fair. so that is what I care about the most in a guild. I have three level 50s. My main is a healing SI, and I also have a tanking BH and a dps IA. I am a hard-core crafter, and between my alts I have over a thousand purple schematics. While all three of my toons are Empire, I am willing to re-roll, to Republic, just so I can be in a guild that uses the "Credit Run" loot system. I work nights, but have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Those would be my best days to run operations. My last two SWTOR guilds used the "Credit Run" loot system, and we were able to pay for multiple guild bank tabs, thanks to that loot system. Sadly with all the transfers both guilds have unsubscribed. Between the time were my two guilds unsubscribed and the latest server merger, I was the only level 50 on my server. I did a lot of dailies, since there was no one else to play with, and now I am looking to putting those credits into progressing my character. For those who are unfamiliar with this loot system, you can read about it here: http://elitistjerks.com/f15/t77416-gdkp_run_discussion_spread_your_server/ -Crusoe Edited September 30, 2012 by Zarahemla
Krazy_Karl
You're going to have a difficult time finding a guild who uses this system as loot is very easy to come by, the content is not that difficult, and money is so easily attainable through dailies. This game does not lend itself to a GDKP loot system, or even DKP at all. And considering you are asking the same question in every single recruitment thread on the Shadowlands Forums, you're soon going to run out of guild options without finding one who uses GDKP. If you were republic, we'd invite you to run through a EC HM using this system; the majority of raiders in our guild have multiple alternates geared in Campaign gear and only need a few specific pieces. Campaign gear for the most part has been getting "greeded" for many weeks now. So if us doing a run would mean getting some cash for their trouble (many guildies are poor) I am sure they would jump at the chance. bravotwentysev
I highly doubt this will happen here as creds are easy to get and so is gear with the right players. Shoot My old alt that just hit 50 went on a his first raid friday. I got 4 pieces alone that night as everybuddy was rolling greed. They didnt care I was rolling need. Makilana
In all honesty, this type of system does not belong in a guild. Guilds are a group of people all with the same goals. All members work together, helping each other to achieve them. Having to buy your upgrades with cash on a guild run counter-acts all reasons for having a guild. Don't argue that this is the same as DKP, its not. DKP you earn points on the guild run which can be spent on the gear. In other games, I have seen pick up groups use the DGKP system, and yes, those runs were successful. I have never heard of guilds using it. In my opinion, a guild that does use it will fail.
