ArchangelLBC
Just goes to show you never know what the future will bring. I wouldn't have really predicted this before the 1.4 changes, but there you are. I'm not saying that the spec is overpowered now (I don't know that I've played enough yet to really make that estimation. Lets see what happens to the meta as people adjust). I certainly don't think they're overpowered on their own. Nevertheless seems like I'm seeing a TON more rage warriors and focus knights in warzones now, and I'm pretty sure as the FotM syndrome kicks in and we see even more and more, the QQ is gonna flow in as people die to 3-4 Smashes in a row. Or am I offbase here?

PowerReaper
This spec is not overpowered, its not that hard to counter as long as you pay attention. You need to play one yourself, its fun as hell tbh. (I've been playing Rage on my Juggernaut forever, before this buff) Edited September 29, 2012 by PowerReaper
DarthOvertone
This spec is not overpowered, its not that hard to counter as long as you pay attention. You need to play one yourself, its fun as hell tbh. I don't think the Rage spec itself is overpowered. But the 5K+ AOE Smash/Sweep Auto-Crit from even a moderately geared Marauder/Sent/Jugg/Guard is stupid. Never played Rage until last night, and it's pathetically facile. Coming from Annihilation I've personally nicknamed Rage the Drooling T*rd spec. It's one thing that Smash can be so powerful, but another that it can be spammed with such frequency and ease. Top end performance of the skill is literally a 4-button mash routine with the only variability depending on the uptime of Berserk. There are DPS rotations in Diablo III (5-button combat) that are more complex and require more thought. It certainly is fun to play, but really dumbs down combat. The only reason you are seeing more of them now is because well BW decided to nerf the crap out of Vengeance/Vigilance spec, people are just adapting or in the end they get left behind

You need to play one yourself, its fun as hell tbh. I ran a few games with it on my lowbie sent (level 46. Going slow with this one) and I didn't say the class was overpowered. Just that there are a lot of them. The fact that it's so powerful for both ACs isn't gonna help much either, and there's no doubt a team full of smash juggs/maras will start doing some sick damage if/when they all come in with full stacks. DarkSaberMaster
What's funny is that people have been doing all of this when everybody thought it was a joke. I knew that it would be only a matter of time before people would start calling for nerf on Rage/Focus lol.
UncleOst
What's funny is that people have been doing all of this when everybody thought it was a joke. I knew that it would be only a matter of time before people would start calling for nerf on Rage/Focus lol. Exactly. Soo...a person chooses a warrior class. Plays it endlessly, remodels his gear(spends alot of time doing so), and happens to crit hard against an "elite"(who may or may not be one who cries about expertise ratings).lulz THEN a few of these people who whine endlessly on the forums, decide to label jugs/guards "FOTM" .... I Dare you complacent "ooo I got smashed by a jug" people to actually PLAY one. Furthermore, to all of you arsehatts that say jugs/guards are mindless and easy to play...I really encourage you all to shut up. You clearly have idea about the warrior class and I dread having yer pretentious kind on my Teams. I can imagine how terrible yer numbers are in warzones. I see jugs constantly without protection values in warzones or ill see jug tanks with less protection per match than me while I'm dps spec. This FOTM fad is crap because the only people who "smash" hard, are the ones who remod and work towards those values. It's all about optimisation and commitment. Now having said that, there have always been jugs/guards and there always will be. You baddies will be the first ones proclaiming this tripe after the next patch about some other class. ...what else you got...

Pyro QQ has ended let the knight QQ begin. I took a nice screenshot today of a warzone where all 5 highiest dps (myself included) were rage/focus specced, totally not op and totally not fotm. The usual routine is after a class is buffed significantly it becomes FoTM. Especially when they nerf the only other damage spec.
vimm
What? It was blatantly obvious this was going to happen, as the class was performing more than fine before its buff.
Iamyourfatherr
Rage has always been good the only change that makes this spec feel more powerful is the fact that you rarely miss smashes now cause the animation is so fast. I could put out the same numbers pre 1.4 as i can now you just had to spend alot more time spamming slash now the rotation is a little more exciting. OwnzYou
Attention all PvP players. This is a public service announcement. It is advised that you all invest in skills that "Reduce area of effect damage" This will help alleviate stress related to the massive influx of Warriors/Knights trying their improved Rage/Focus skill trees That is all
