Bug fixes.. and nothing but. Not all of them. I would just like to see that as the main focus. I don't really care about new content at this point, because now I can only raise this question when new content comes out: Ok, now what doesn't work?

 

Things are getting shoved out way too fast. But I bet if you (devs at bioware) were to have a big update FOCUSED MAINLY ON BUG FIXES, you would impress and win the hearts of more players than if you did by shoving out half-working content, and content that breaks the previously working content.

 

Because, lets face it, if you had a mass bug-fix patch, that's like new content right there... stuff working like we've never seen it before.

Well that's setting the bar... really freaking low.

 

1.5 Needs to have the space missions, WZ that was SUPPOSED to be in 1.4, HK, new race, dual spec/multi spec, and a load of bug fixes and that would make it about as big as 1.2...

 

1.4 was a freaking joke. it was supposed to be the "content heavy" patch after 1.3 was the quality of life patch but the only new content they gave us was one freakin OP. 1.4 was a flat out failure and a joke.

What bugs are preventing you to play? They already have plenty of content or "content" in development. I am sure they can add some of that with your bugfixes to the next big patch.

Stuttering ... have to play on lowest settings now after the patch and still have poor fps.

 

Hard to read fonts in game now.

 

Game Breaking for me.

Im having those same issues.. I dont understand why the font had to be changed.. Was it just to simply "Change" something? lol.. My screen shakes nd i exp lag that wasnt an issue before the patch.

okay maybe we should call all of those PvE Nerfs that were put in to please the PvP crowd content then.

Even then it's so thin you can't breathe on that amount of oxygen.

 

Being a PvE player the only content I see is the one I NEVER WANTED in the first place

 

That thing should be labeled 1.3.9 and as a regular update. For my part i'm still waiting on 1.4 and I know i'll have to wait for 1.5 in 6 weeks for a chance at anything new. That is if they deliver what was promised in 1.4. But looking at all the way over hyped promises we get for the constant under delivering my hopes ain't all that high.

 

I still love that game but for the love of god stop promising the Death Star and delivering Darth Baras in a funny costume

Why can't we fix the bugs in 1.4.1 through 1.4.n, like how all the other bugs get fixed? The Y in X.Y.Z should be Content updates. The Z should be bug fixes. Major things like planets, races, and increased level caps should be the X (2.0.0 would be the first Expansion, I should think).

Having an old(er) computer I got rid of most of stuttering by reducing the grass. I understand that the sli (xfire) people are having a different problem, symptoms are the same, solution possibly different.

Creativity.

 

Recolorign stuff, i.e. speeders and gear.

Where are all the staff that CREATE stuff. My guess is its all being saved for the cash shop, which i will say right now i will not partake in. It seems that creativity has been replaced with the lazy way out.

 

Actual customization. a dye system or something. I want to be a beast hello kitty vanguard. A hairstyle system or something. (The facial expressions BTW are complete garbage. You do realize you cannot see our faces with all these rediculous helmets, and even then we are looking at the BACK of our character)

 

A Loot system that has a rare chance of dropping something rediculous. An UBER weapon or something (that cannot be re'd) would make it worthwhile to run the raids over and over again. I would farm out SOA all the time if there was something that had a rare drop in it. If it dropped a 2 man speeder? PLZ.

 

Make the abilities of our characters look like the class. My vanguard for instance. Buttstroke...rgr. got it. But shooting lightning out of a gun? uhhh what? If the vanguard is the front line "infantry" like soldier. I would be using feet, fists, (storming to someone should knock them down. If you run up to someone at full speed and shoulder them they are gonna fall down).

 

Fun stuff to do while we are waiting around for something. Pet tossing contest or something. dont know what it is but pizzak (if i spelled it right)

 

Dueling! omg pls can you put that in. It would make ppl be able to test their skills against each other while they wait for pvp to happen.

 

Put dummies on Carrick. All this traveling to get to a dummy is garbage. (There was probly a reason to put them on the birdge deck casue no one uses it anymore but cmon guys.) Jus thought of this, Put the dummies right next to the skill retrainer. Would save SO much time.

 

Theres other stuff but I have to try to pay attention in class. lol

You know that wouldn't qualify it as 1.5; just a bunch of hotfixes and patches.

This last round of bugs in 1.4 effectively "broke the game" for me. No other MMORPG that I have played (and I have played quite a number of them) broke to the point that I couldn't play them without degrading the quality of my play and I include AO, SWG (launch), and MxO in my list of MMORPGS played.

 

You KNOW you have failed when the performance of your product dips below AO, SWG (at launch), and MxO.

 

For me there is plenty to do in the game as it is right now. I could do with out any more content or "enhancements" for quite a while and still be happy (well that was true BEFORE 1.4).

 

So -----> :mad:

 

Until I am restored to the state I was before 1.4.

A. There was only a single Op because they are trying a new method to get content out 'sooner' which is to deliver updates every six weeks. This means that 'major' patches will come sooner (roughly every 6 weeks versus every 2-3 months) but have less content. I think it will be pretty standard going to forward to get 1 OP plus some minor improvement one patch, then 1 WZ plus minor improvements the next one.

B. If you're a PvE player then how is the content you "NEVER WANTED"? Ops are target specifically for PvE players... Do you mean your a solo PvE player?

1.2 Broke my gameplay pretty substantially. It will get better slowly through patches slowly. Just make sure you're posting tickets for anything you find.

I have to admit, after the initial excitement of a new patch, even i am having trouble logging in to play. I want to want to play but i just find it a struggle to actually move on with my class story (I absolutely hate belsavis)

 

If there was something interesting that i could do in game, like aquire HK-51, or have more class story content available making me want to level my guardian and find out what happens in act 4.

 

My wish list for 1.5 is as follows:

-New Class Story Content

-HK-51

-Class fixes given through listening to the players (no more pointless changes such as force stasis animation)

-More companion related content

-A new flashpoint or two (i personally find flashpoints much more fun than ops, less time required to do and less people to organise)

-A lot more bug fixes

-The new warzone

-The ability to kill of a few companions depending on conditions, and changes in the future story to adjust to the loss

 

Most of this list relates to the player story content, i would like some more because that is the reason i bought the game in the first place, I want to see more to the companion stories, an actual ending to the Mako arc. I only included the new warzone in the list because it has already been mostly completed.

 

Companion killing and its consequences should have been in from the start, it isn't like replacements can't be added.

Thank you OP, i was opening this thread to say something similar and it was so nice to see that others see it isnt just new content that makes a game fun. we the remaining players really need it and i dont know why dont they start tomorrow so we can see all the small but really annoying bugs get fixed soon. instead of some more buggy content or even worse something with legacy *shrug*
