Guild spotlight is more important than an article about the game

I think that posting an article for the guild spotlight is more important than posting an article about fixing the game.

There are many many thriving guilds in this game, the players are staying in this game because there is a lot of end game content. They are not moving to other games because SWTOR is very gripping. Its good that the guild spotlight is on because it gives guilds a chance to be recognized among the hundreds, if not thousands of other guilds in this populated game.

Many of the guilds have been made maybe a year, two years before SWTOR was released. Almost all of these guilds are probably still active, because the members had high expectations of this game, and SWTOR met up to those expectations.

There are a lot of hardcore guilds too. I dont think this game was made for the "casual player" because there is far too much end game content for a casual player to get through.

This game is mainly focused on group content and guilds. The class quests have a dramatic impact on your character at the end of the game. Therefore i think articles about the players, the guilds, are more important than fixing bugs, adding more content etc... There really arent that many bugs to be honest, and theres loads of content too. I especially love the space missions. I like how there is a guided route because personally I'd probably crash into all the meteors and ships! its really handy to be honest

The F2P option will bring a lot of new players and guilds to the game, and those people will see how great the game is and hopefully subscribe. Which means more players on the server, even though I never come across one person more than once on the server.

How much do you want to make a bet that guild that was picked by BioWare is basking in their GLORY right now and thinks nobody else comes close to them just because they were picked? How much do you wanna bet that they think "I'm so awesome, newbs" or something like that?

You are so right!

This game is great and works perfectly as planned and we should be more than happy to shell out money to play it.

You can be sure there is not another Star Wars MMO as rich and feature filled as this one.

And the continuous improvements are mind staggering!

I really thought the game moved to fast before, this last patch has made it much more playable.

I can't wait for the next improvement!

As much as I dislike the idea of a "guild spotlight" when Bioware has done NOTHING to aid guilds since launch, I don't have any issue with the guild they picked, nor with Eric doing this. This game NEEDS a focus on guilds for a few days. There are so many simple additions they could add that would drastically improve guilds that it's stupid they haven't. We had more guild tools prior to launch than we do now.

Hmmmm.... I like TOR enough to keep playing and subscribing but what game are you guys talking about cause I'd sure love to try that one instead!

Cat ... DW is being "ironic". Also, this is the second or third attempt at getting this post to stay up as the last couple have been deleted. :D

Uhh, None?

Jen'jedai are from Jung Ma. They don't go around being all pompous. They still hold two weekly Cantina RP events a week that I sometimes venture out to depending on character I'm playing at that precise moment. They hit up PVE progression pretty hard, but that's their thing..

I don't believe it. Did you see how PERFECT that guild looked in the video? It's all staged and the article is written way to well.

Improvements? I haven't been able to play without camera hitches and other graphical issues since 1.4 landed. Improvements my rosy red ***.

Kin was being "ironic" as is DW.

Some people need to have their sarcasim meters recalibrated.

I am mad as heck at 1.4 but, I can laugh at a good joke ( which is this thread ).

At least someone gets it! :)

You see folks, we aren't allowed to say negative things because the posts go bye bye when we do.

So we have to say nice things about the game.

Like how it's easier to play when it's so choppy and slow and how I didn't like hearing all those nice sound effects and I thought the ability to push the bad guys off of me in all directions was too difficult to manage so I'm happier being able to only push the people in front of me that I see and not the ones sneaking up behind me.

And I really prefer seeing cut-scenes/conversations that look like a Japanese movie because the words are no longer in sync with the actions/facial expressions/lips moving!

I'm really very happy about the stuff that they fixed in the game and I'm just peachy keen on the way the game is headed now.

And I'm really looking forward to F2P so I can still play but not have to pay for this high quality game that EA has so much faith in.

That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. I play on Jung Ma and Jen'jidai is definitely for real. They hold RP events all the time and I see them recruiting in chat quite often. From what I understand, they have many server firsts for PvE and are all around a decent guild.

Uhh, a lot of guilds make recruitment videos. Did you read how long it took them to make it and how many recuts and reshoots they needed to do in order to do it?

This just in buddy: Hard Work reaps rewards. Effort makes for great benefits. Sweat pays off.

They wrote the responses, they made the video. You're just complimenting Luniara, really. All Bioware did was send them a question e-mail and they filled it out, added some links, and there you go.
