Imperial gear vs Republic gear (Dread Guard)

I am somewhat disappointed in how much the feedback was listened concerning the itemization. It might show a little on my post under the helpful quote from Cerimon. At least now I am posting at the right place!

Hello dear customer service and developers. I am sure you have already had feedback about itemization on Dread Guard sets. However, I want to point out a disparity between gearing an Eliminator Trooper or a Bounty Hunter. I am sure these have been pointed out and ignored by the customer service or at the end, the developers.

 

This already happened with Campaign gear (ie: cunning barrels being better on imperial side than on republic side). I thought the developers were aware of this and would fix things. It is obviously possible to change items people already have in a massive scale (MK-3 off-hands for an example) so why is nothing done? Does it require a massive coding or do you lack inspiration to work it out?

 

On Eliminator gear, the barrel is worse on republic side than that of in imperial side. It's obvious you could roll the campaign barrels on proper stats on republic side also, but instead of doing that, you are making more "bad" items for republic side with the new tier. This is a frustrating process to follow and very very deeply disappointing. It's an MMORPG, few of us actually care about gearing progress. This has been discussed and pointed out and supposedly blatantly ignored. For me, it is casting a shadow over the game and I suppose for others like me, a small minority of players who care about itemization. I am sure you at BW have statistics and sheets that show how little people care about gear. Otherwise it would make no sense to make a lot of players annoyed at bad item stat design? Right?

 

suggestion:

 

#1 Clone the stats from Imperial side Dread Guard / Campaign sets to republic side.

 

#2 Make the Campaign and Dread Guard tokens bind on legacy.

 

#3 At least fix the barrels/hilts.

Direct feedback:

 

At least Sentinel and Tanking gear itemization is crap on a fresh Dread Guard set.

 

It's blatantly obvious the community team is not being listened. Thanks for your time and efforts.

 

I can't be bothered to make my post chin down and hat in my hands. It doesn't seem to work. Could the community team maybe deliver my message at the end of this rant to people who are responsible for ignoring the discussion and disparity about itemization.
