HM FP tanking questions

So, I've a jugg... he is doing good job tanking normal lev 50 FPs... he is slowly getting geared, but is far away from recommended 30/50/50.

 

What I've so far is

Health: 17100

Accuracy: 101%

Defense: 29,20%

Shield Chance: 30,28%

Absorbtion:29%

 

He is using so far full orange set (with exalted bracers belt) - all mods are lev 49/50 purples from belsavis dailies/ crafting - those Elusive tanking mods str 36/21 end/27 def x6, Advanced Guardian Armorings 22, daily rewards guardian hilt, +47 endurance lev 50 crystal.

 

As for the enchantments, I use 3x +19 end/+39 shield/+27 absorption and 3x+19 end /+39 shield/+27 defence purple lev 49 crafted. Stim is Rakata Stamina. Relics do suck, as I still gather the 400 dailies for campaign relics, so I'm using Dark V vendor stuff.

 

I don't have any augments yet, as my synthweaver and armormech are still below 49, so I can't make the lev 22 purple augments, and they bit expensive (as I'd need 11 of them ;P)

 

do you think, I can try tanking few HMs, or maybe story mode OPS, or should I wait, till I get campaign relics and accuracy / shield /absorption augments?

With dailies grade stuff you can tank every T1 HM FP given your healer is in same grade gear. Same for story EV/KP.

For Hard ops, T2 FP, and EC story you need at least columni to feel somewhat comfortable.

For relics, at least if they are not nerfed in 1.4 jus buy yurself 2 Champion Defense relics (11500 each, yes 11k - no prequisites). When you get your 200 comms swap one for on use campaign relic.
