GARhenus Posted September 24, 2012 Share Posted September 24, 2012 How about this, heavily based on RF online's chip wars - planet with a resource rich area (available to lvl10+ players) - pvp enabled - resource area is only accessible to 1 side at a time... - because said area is within range of a massive turret owned by the other side - at given times(every 6-8 hours?), both turrets become inactive for an hour (as if regular maintenance--it's a big turret after all) - goal is to destroy enemy turret before it reactivates - if successful, winning side's turret activates (until the next turret maintenance period) and players can gather resources at their own leisure - FACTION-WIDE xp/drop/stat buff(?!!) till the next resource war possible problems - access to resource rich area will saturate the GTN with crafting materials - less people at warzones - spawn camp - [pls tell me other possible problems] possible solutions - many resource nodes but slightly lower yields - npc guards at each starting area - no wz commendations (still has valor points) - [need help with this one] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
