Add permanent choice

If you want to make this game shine and be different than the other MMO's out there. Add permanent choice into it. If I follow a story one way it should have one outcome and if I follow it another it should have another outcome. If we kill off a companion in a story make them dead for that character. There's nothing stopping people from re-rolling. Make it a risk vs. reward system. If you do kill off a companion give something else instead. I sacrificed X to get Y. We'll all sacrifice that ship droid btw.

They do have permanent choice. Now, you can't kill off your companions, but if you let someone survive it's possible they will return to screw you again later. (or help you, depending on who they were and such.)

For example, on one of my characters I stole some codes from this guy and he was like "OMG when they find out you got the codes from me, they'll kill me." and I had the choice to kill him myself but I didn't. Well, turns out the bastard called them up and told them I was coming. If I'd have killed him, they wouldn't have.

during beta for a while you could kill off companions... it turned bad... players were killing off companions then crying because they now had less and couldn't craft, run as many crew skill missions or have X class companion with them... Quinn was the most *****ed about cause tons of SW killed him off then cried and cried because they no longer had a healer companion Edited by Liquidacid

The people cried about it and then bioware chose the lazy option, rather than allowing Sith warriors to get a replacement, by the end of the story the sith warrior is easily in a position to request or demand a healer from the imperial military.
