Sayir Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 So lately I've been seeing a lot of screenshots on here with juggernauts/guardians holding their lightsabers like a two-handed sword, but my 26 Juggernaut just holds it like a sorcerer. Is there a point where its actually held like that, or does bioware just use it for looks on the news?

Never played a Juggernauts, but my Guardian hold his lightsaber with both hands, definately, not like my sorcerer. Edited September 23, 2012 by Aelther
Lithy Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 guardians and jugs have different stance animations. jug animations occasionally put both hands on the hilt but the passive is one hands and the passive stance is slightly different than sorc.
Wraiven Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I love the way my Jugg holds his saber, like he's really about to mess somebody up. I had to delete my Guardian because he looked extremely unnatural with his saber, holding it like a baseball bat. I really hope they do not have plans to change my Jugg.
Xatasha Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Just remember the glowing part is what you stick into people and stuff
Voranis Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I don't mind the two handed look, but I wonder how it looks with a curved hilt, might be why the Jug's don't use the same anim. I think my marauder still has a curved hilt. They ever going to fix that? They screwed that up. The character holds the curved hilt backwards, it should curve away from your arm.
RixoFutu Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Actually i played Jugg and Guardian too and i like more Guardian way to hold tje lightsaber. There is nothing wrong with two-hands holding. It's classic. Jugg is arrogant sith warrior, more confident so he got lightsaber only in one hand - so as Darth Vader. So easy to handle it. I guess not much for Jedies, they need more control of their doing.
Knockerz Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 I like the guardian more, but jug has better wardrobe. If only I could have the two hander passive stance of a guardian and the sith jug gear.
Miggzy Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The way guardians hold their lightsaber while running looks so bad compared to the juggs imo
Wraiven Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 The way guardians hold their lightsaber while running looks so bad compared to the juggs imo ^ This The way a Guardian runs with his lightsaber held like a baseball bat looks so unnatural. Awkward and funny looking.

Seem only right, since the damage of a lightsaber is no greater than baseball bat. And it breaks like a baseball bat too.
GymQuirk Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Seem only right, since the damage of a lightsaber is no greater than baseball bat. And it breaks like a baseball bat too. Oh great. Now I'm trying to work out gameplay rules for "Blastball". Okay. So the pitcher fires a heavy blaster toward the catcher (well-armored), and the guy with the glowbat tries to deflect the bolt over the outfield fence or otherwise put it in play... Gym "How do you bunt a blaster bolt?" Quirk
