Easy-going, EU-based, mature, casual-friendly guild for those 21 years or older

 

<Outer Rim Irregulars> is a guild for mature gamers who are 21 years or older. The main goal of the guild is to provide players with a place to experience game content in a relaxed and friendly environment, without having to worry about event attendance or inactivity. Everyone in ORI knows that real life comes first, and whether you want to level alts or do operations, you won't have to worry about getting grief because of your play schedule.

 

ORI isn't focused on one aspect of the game, be it PVE, endgame or PVP. We don't recruit based on the character you play or the gear it has. Instead, we're looking for similar-minded people who enjoy playing together. Despite this relaxed attitude, we've cleared all current endgame content and are eagerly awaiting the next operation to be released. Our ops runs are friendly but focused, we use Mumble, and we use a loot distribution system (Suicide Kings) that's fair to everyone who participates.

 

When we're grouping together - whether it's a group consisting solely of guild members, or we've got others with us - we try to do the best job we can. It's no fun to have to tackle difficult content when you don't feel like everyone's giving their all.

 

Simply put, what does this mean in terms of our expectations of our members?

  • You can be serious when needed
  • You can keep a cool head when things aren't going well
  • You care about fun while playing in a team, not just the loot
  • You're willing to learn to perform your role the best way you can
  • You're willing to use voice chat, if only to listen

 

What can you expect from your guildmates?

  • A friendly but focused attitude to achieve our goals
  • Fellow players who are knowledgeable about their role, or willing to learn from others
  • A flexible schedule without any attendance tracking or mandatory raids
  • Fairness and openness when it comes to any loot or materials

We're planning to restart out operations this week, with Terror from Beyond as well as lower-tier operations. If you've got a level 50 character that you'd like to run ops with in a relaxed and pressure-free environment, please check out our website or hit any of our officers up in-game.

As promised, we started running Operations again. In addition to all previous content we've now cleared Terror From Beyond on story mode, and we're working on hard mode, with three out of five bosses down. Screenshots of the kills are on our website.

 

I'd also like to extend a very warm welcome to everyone who's joined us the couple of days.

We're currently looking to expand our operations team with more players. To ensure that we'll have enough people present to run operations, we'll need a couple of each role. Therefore, we're looking for players who can fulfil one of these roles:

Tank

Heal

Melee DPS

Ranged DPS

 

We don't have any sort of attendance requirement to our ops, and the current team works well together. As a casual guild, we sometimes run into issues when one or more of us can't make a particular run. Please, make sure if you apply to join for operations, that you meet the following criteria:

Able to attend 1 or 2 operations a week, usually on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday evening at 8PM CET;

You know how to fulfil your chosen role in operations and you show up prepared;

Your character's got decent gear, meaning at least Columi - Rakata-level;

You can take a joke ;)

New ops team progressing still looking for more members for a 2nd team and to start 16 man runs.

 

Mature friendly attitude, don't apply if easily offended :p.

Are the Outer Rim Irregulars also accepting leveling tanks?

 

I have a Jedi Guardian on The Progenitor, but I can't transfer him yet, unfortunately. It is possible for my to level a Guardian or a Jedi Shadow, I don't mind the leveling progress.

 

Would a new tank have a chance to run those Ops with you at higher levels?

Outer rim irregulars is now recruiting.

 

1-2 Ops grps running doing all story modes, Started EC HM looking for tanks for operations.

 

We are a social casual guild where real life comes first but we still get the job done in operations we are currently progressing in TFB and have 2 ops teams going at times, 1 at least, a couple of times a week. We have veterans here as well as newcomers to the game and welcome all.

We're a casual Star Wars: the Old Republic guild on the Red Eclipse server. In ORI we believe that real life comes first, but we can still do well in MMOs. We don't have an attendance requirement or activity rules, and we're made up out of people aged 21 years or older that are on the same wavelength about gaming as a hobby. Looking for a guild where you do ops late night, pve, pvp , etc. New to SWTOR looking to level up with some fun people, coming from old guys mw3 clan.

 

I only get on from about 10pm at night normally but stay on until 3am
