Search feature for the forums

Is there such a thing? I haven't exhausted all avenues yet but there is no obvious one that I can find.

 

Would be nice to have one.

There was. Also you can no longer go back and review your recent posts under your statistics. That is the bigger pain to me, because I like to keep track of the conversations in threads I've posted in. With the amount of traffic on here, nost threads are buried a few pages down after a few hours making it quite a pain to get back to something you posted before. The search functionality for these forums was completely removed, which includes the ability to view posts and threads by users. This makes looking for information here the biggest pain.

 

And don't worry, everyone has noticed and complained about this fact.

Phew. I thought I was just missing it somewhere.

 

Yeah, I like being able to search by keywords so it would be great if they consider putting it back in. It's a bit of a PITA to have to search countless pages just to hopefully find what you are looking for.

I believe they removed it because it was a giant resource hog during times of high traffic.
