story after act 1

Hey guys,

I'm on Nar shadaa and I'm really enjoying the story so far, but people kept telling me that after act 1 the story gets really bad...is it true or they just want to thin the number of SI? :D *cough* competition *cough*

Is there anyone past act 1 who can shed some light (or darkness)?

Depends on who you ask. I find the story very interesting and likable. I finished the story in beta and found it to be satisfying. Every class story is different because each class is different.. people will compare them and may not always like it compared to another. It is really a matter of opinion, I would proceed with an open mind and make your own judgement.

It's a typical story about how a Sith gets his/her power. Not much else really worth mentioning.

It's definitely not -bad-, but it's not as involved as say.. Imperial Agent storyline.

Act 2 starts between Alderaan and Taris.

I actually found the opposite to be true. I thought the story was extremely boring until Act I finished, then it became really interesting. The ending is particularly satisfying.

I'm starting to notice this too, actually. I'm currently just arriving on Hoth and I'm curious to see what happens next.

this, it's just a typical sith story line... though it does definitely have some ooooh moments in it

now the IA

that story is full of mind explosions

I got past Dromand Kaas and was forced to reroll to play with my brother but after playing the trooper though act 1 I find it hard to go back.

On the topic after you finish the first act how do you start act 2?

It starts automatically after finishing Act I. And no I will not tell you how Act I ends :p

I will say there is a moment of

After Act I (or rather, with the end of act 1) it gets rather fun (and totally wacky, but what can you expect if you muck around in the depths of the Force?), though tbh it seems to taper off again towards the end.

I think I'm on the last mission now (which is conveniently named to spoil the surprise you could/would otherwise get) and unless they have a surprise for me I'll have to say that after Voss it goes downhill again (which basically means Corellia), though I expect the ending to be pretty awesome.

On that note, anybody else notice how sometimes (quite often, in fact) the loading screens get the stage you are at in the chapter you're on wrong and tell you more than you should know at that point? It's quite annoying.

I "dislike" the second act in the story, the pacing is off and the story is all over the place. I hope it picks up on act 3.

if you look at all the post above it looks like the satisfation and pleasure you gain from various acts is limited to weather or not you actually injoy the game and the storyline. now i didn't get that far yet but i believe that it is the likelliness of you liking the game is split 50-50 between it being a good game and weather or not you are ready to embit your self into the story.

(please dont mind typos, im not English)

comparing the storyline of inquisitor and sith warrior .. the story is really just about you, nothing else. your foes are boring and

your way to "heal" yourself

is really stupid, I couldn't care less about inq storyline. it seems to me that they put all the awesome design decisions into the sith warrior storyline and left the inquisitor with a boring one .. and also boring/annoying companions (I need an option to kill ashara, really).
