Im sorry to say this but I have to quit this game.

Just deleted my 3 lvl 50 characters and my numerous alts.

Played sith inquisitor then jedi knight then sith warrior to level 50.

Had a jedi consular in the 30s

A second jedi knight in the 40s

Bounty hunter in 30s

and so on

Cant keep playing cuz takes too much time away from my personal life.

I am really sad about this :(

I give myself 30 last minutes on these forums before I leave this game for good.

RIP my swtor characters :(

MMO's can suck the life right out of your...er...life.

When I have left other mmo's for whatever reason (sometimes just necessity/time constraints) I have found after a few days/weeks I hardly miss them at all, and I get a lot more done in RL.

Remember, at the end of the mmo life cycle, what do any of us really have to show for all the time we put in to our characters?

Happy endeavours!

Exactly. When sometimes you sit down just to check your sells on the GTN and then you start on an advanture to defeat the emperor.

You wanted to sit down for 5 mins but you ended playing for 10 hours.... and it doesnt seem like you did cuz you only cleared like 2 planets.

Just sucks the time out of your life.

Just too bad that people want to "grind" in these games.

You just end up losing your time doing something not that fun.

For example, I wanted to reroll a miraluka sith inquisitor (visas marr type)

I spent hours on the GTN and doing dailies to get the 1.5M.

At 500k I realized that its BORING as hell to grind just so I can grind another character.

No thanks

I was hoping that the legacy system would reduce the amount of grinding (xp bonuses)

but you just end up grinding dailies to be able to purchase the unlocks.

so what is the point?

Why delete your toons? Just cancel your sub and uninstall so your not tempted to play :p then you can go back when u get a grip on things

Did that 2 months ago but finally reinstalled it.

Its not that I cant control myself...

Its just that you dont realize how much time you can spend on this game...

I could enjoy the game if I could just do the class quests.

I havent played all the characters yet but I dont want to...

I must have spent at least 600 hours in this game and thats enough.

Deleting three 50's is a bit extreme...but however you break your addiction is up to you.

Know even if I quit/take a break I won't be deleting my 50's, twould break my heart to do lol

:( Duuude.... Duuude... I'd never delete my characters to break addiction. Then I've got nothing to show for anything. It might be different because I'm on an RP server and all those toons are intertwined into story and all, but man that's really extreme. Hope you get better man, good luck to you!

We're sorry to see that you feel you need to leave the game, and appreciate your feedback. Because threads about leaving tend to attract flames and other unconstructive posts, we'll be closing this thread, but we definitely appreciate you expressing your thoughts and hope you'll be able to join us again in the future! Thank you! Edited by EricMusco
