liammozz Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 where anikin got the upper hand and killed obi-wan, how do you think the empire would have evolved
Aurbere Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Nothing would have changed except for Luke never rescuing Leia and helping Rebels. Most likely the Empire would have had to fight the Yuuzahn Vong. That's how I see it.
Rayla_Felana Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) where anikin got the upper hand and killed obi-wan, how do you think the empire would have evolved (He was Vader BTW at that point) He wouldn't be suffering the scars of being burned alive, he may have even been able to save Padme, without a load of scars to hold him back mentally and even physically, he'd have become an unstoppable force of the Dark Side, within a few years he could very well have already overthrown Sidious and became Emperor, at the rate he was already growing in power, he'd have become more than a match for Sidious, he'd be the perfect Sith being. The Empire? he wouldn't need one eventually. Edited July 26, 2012 by Rayla_Felana
liammozz Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 the questions i have are would a rebel alliance have sprang up since darth vader and starkiller would have been strong enough to overthrow palp causing that uprising to not exist would vader still find luke and leia would the death star be able to end the war with the Yuuzahn Vong faster since it wasn't destroyed if there was no rebellion
Rayla_Felana Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 the questions i have are would a rebel alliance have sprang up since darth vader and starkiller would have been strong enough to overthrow palp causing that uprising to not exist. Vader I suspect would have already overthrown Palpatine before finding Starkiller, so yes. would vader still find luke and leia He would have them in his own custody, as nobody would be there to take them away but him with a dead Kenobi. would the death star be able to end the war with the Yuuzahn Vong faster since it wasn't destroyed if there was no rebellion. The Empire would have been a far far superior opponent to the Yuuzhan Vong than what resistance they did face, I imagine the Vong would have been decimated. My 2c.
liammozz Posted July 26, 2012 Author Posted July 26, 2012 My 2c. nice that sound the best plausible outcome sounds like a better outcome than the original tbh lol
BrandonSM Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) Luke would be turned far more easily, in fact he'd probably be born into Sith due to, like Rayla said, Anakin saving Padme. And then the RA would never exist without Leia. Then the Yuuzan Vong would sprout up, Vader would probably discover a Force Ability that would destroy everything that has to do with the Vong. And with Luke and Leia, they'd probably grow strong in the Force as the same rate as Anakin Did. The Vong wouldn't stand chance against the Big Happy Family.... Edited July 26, 2012 by BrandonSM
Aurbere Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 The Vong wouldn't stand chance against the Big Happy Family.... More like angry emo family. if they take after their father:D
gabarooni Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 I like to think that Luke would have still grown up to be a Force of LIght and defeat Vader. Just like it was Vader's destiny to turn to the Dark Side I feel it was Luke's destiny to turn to the Light. If anything maybe Luke would have been raised Dark and turned Light. I kind of feel like Luke would have to kill Leia though cause it seems to me if Leia was born into the Dark side of the force she would have stayed there.

Eventually Vader would have had to end the Banite SIth, meaning himself and whomever his apprentice would have been at the time, bringing balance to the force, perhaps you are right, Luke would've been drawn to the Light by Kenobi's ghost or Padme, and sent him to Dagobah to train as a Jedi Knight with Master Yoda, perhaps redeem his father and even Leia, etc... any number of things could have happened, Leia might have even been the Disciple of Light to be trained by Yoda.

Thats if he doesn't find Yoda.. In Vader, he went on a hunting spree for Jedi. I think he might have been able to find Yoda even though Yoda's location makes him immune to sensing...
_biddan_ Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Kinda already happened.. wow, that's awesome, too bad for obi wan,but damn that's a epic ending.
