xarynn Posted July 13, 2012 Share Posted July 13, 2012 Because hiding a companion's helmet affects all players, hiding a hood only affects a minority. There is also the small matter of simply wearing a circlet style headpiece and disabling the hide helmet option, I've found that can make the hood disappear, but for some reason that doesn't work in every case.
