Things that will bring people back and make the game fun enough for them to stay are as follows: 1. Hard Complete Server Merges - not transfers, not other PR / investment BS, just straight out to the point server merges. 2. Cross Server LFG tool - Yup, it will offend some of these "community" nutcases and other in game minorities, but it will make most of us happy, so I guess its better that the 10% or so of those that care about this leave, then the 70% that dont. 3. Comprehensive bugfree LFG tool - 1 where you can have 2 or 3 guildies or friends fill in their missing role(s) with a cross server PUG. THIS works wonders, as it enables people to run content which and when they want while preserving the whole community thing and letting the poor chap from some other place still do the same. 4. Proper PvP balancing - not in response to the latest OP / overpopulated class / spec, but the real deal. Such as: Address lack of defenses vs elemental / internal dmg for classes / specs appropriate, likewise with CC in all its forms, as well as many others. There is simply too much "Rock" and too few "Scissors", and no "Paper" at all. Fix it. 5. Finish the UI - Plainly distinguishable buffs / debuffs, add another row of buttons, give options to completely remove the borders, backgrounds from UI elements etc. 6. Fix bugs - Although not as bad as SOA, in Denova we spend only half our time fighting bugs not 90% of the time, but its still screwed up that the devs just dont get this part. 7. Correct PVE gear progression - this is being worked on, dont screw it up. 8. Need a "catch-up" system for gear. Switching to another class for OPS is nearly impossible as it requires another BM / WH grind which is out of reach for those of us with lives or not on fatman. 9. Fix tanking problems - I understand this is being worked on. Lack of internal / elemental dmg defenses on 2 out of 3 tank classes is also pretty bad next to threat generation issues. 10. Stop making lowbie content which will be "flown" through in a single sitting. - Make more BUGFREE lvl 50 content that is properly rewarding and meaningful. 11. Fix / rebalance crafting. 1.2 was a small step in the right direction, but only a small step. - EVERY profession needs to add a unique ability to the character that has maxxed the profession, EQUAL to the benefits of Biochem. Currently 4 out of 6 of my 50s are Biochem for self explanatory reasons. For example: Bind On Pickup mods or enhancements or whatever else profession produces, that are slightly improved over what is available in game. This needs to consistantly, appropriately scale with content, when a player finishes HM Ops, an equivalent of schematic to such should be available to that player via some means. 12. ALLOW ADDONS - Dmg meters, Heal Meters, whetever, these things are simply FUN. Crit meters etc. Its a blast seeing all that stuff once you get up in tiers and compare it to where you were. Do it ingame, real time, not this idiotic logging text reading crap thats in there now. Again, some will leave cause of this, but MANY MANY more will stay and many more will even come. BTW, addons are one of the BEST tools to create in game communities outside of the game. There are many other issues, but these are just the ones people have brought up to me, especially my guildies, most of whom by now have unfortunately gone and unsubbed. There are 5 of us left. Somewhere there is a thread where someone started a poll about cross-server LFG. The poll was obviously written to show that the OP was for it. Kraith Posted May 29, 2012 Share Posted May 29, 2012 you have a excellent point! Do not allow transfers but instead a full merger. Take 5 EC PVE servers and merge them into 1 EC PVE server ect ect. Allowing transfers will only create problems because we are but a simple race group of people who will only screw this up. Instead of us transfering to a server that others are transfering to, we will wind up transfering to a server that others are transfering away from.
