So after read a lot of threads about how much the game fail in many aspects and how BW as fail to deliver

and make all happy (witch is impossible)

the truth is that still lose 24% of they population is not good, doesnt matter how much many argument is okay.

any business is not fine with losing clients.

but i have read more anger and complain threads and more people unsub.

so i wonder what you guys think?

will 1.3 bring and become what the game need for keep the interest of people and start making some come back and get a new set of customers? or

Will it become the last many will see, since may not bring something that turn the table for BW favor?

thoughts?

Note. forget my poor english!

R.I.P.

1.2 was BW's chance to keep this thing going and they blew it. Just killing time until D3 takes another chunk out of it and then GW2 puts the final nail in the coffin. So much potential, yet so much fail.

I wish they would add additional leveling content - by that I mean more than just the linear pathway of planets that we're presented with. I would like the opportunity to go to various different planets at the same level, for a different experience each time. The thing that killed the game for me was the fact that I had to do essentially the same little story each and every time I wanted to create someone new, aside from the single quest line for each class on the planets. So once I got a level fifty on both sides of the conflict, I knew it was essentially going to be the exact same thing if I wanted to re-roll again.

So what major factor would I like to see in 1.3? Some type of foundation for non-linear leveling progression. Along with that, some smaller and less important details for me would be: more guild mechanics (which I'm sure will be coming) and a biography section for your character ('cause I'm a role-player).

EDIT: And I know some people are going to say 'well you could choose different conversation options', and while definitely true, the problem with that is that very little of your choices actually made a difference in your storyline. I couldn't think of a single one that really affected your storyline to the point where you could completely change the course of your character's progression, like in single player role-playing games.

If the state of the game bothers you enough that you're not happy, then it's time to move on.

I think what the forums doesn't need is a bunch of identical threads saying "I'm not happy with X, Y and Z so BioWare is fail."

If you're not happy, then it's time to move on.

I've left plenty of games that didn't measure up to my standards (STO and Age of Conan) without bothering to leave "here's why I left" thread that ultimately no one really cares about. Just my two cents, not flaming.

BW will never win. No matter what they do, aside from putting out that super duper end all be all, sliced bread patch or update that only you all (yes I am generalizing based off forum posts lol) can come up with in your own heads, it STILL won't be enough for some.

Patience and common sense should be considered a super power these days since many don't seem to have any! :D

OP, this is not an attack on your directly. It is pointed at many other internet heros though. I am sorry but I had to say it. lol :D

the post is not really for me saying SWTOR is dead, its a simple question of what people think about 1.3

and if it will be enough for make some people come back and catch some new ones

but looks like people its so defensive now a days.

try to look all in a objective way and not only from the Fan point or view or the Doom hater point

A MMO is to a TV series as SIngle Player is to Movies or Books

I think there will be a slow implemention of changes, alterations and new content. When making a decent ongoing storyline with character development, (not to mention game mechanics) it requires adjusting to what the audience request. As they create plans, those shift as players provide input, and if they are doing their job correctly, they are blending those ideas together. We are playing a game as it is being created, by it's very nature, this is the essenced of a MMO.

Where a MMO differns to a solo play game, is the storyline and events are changing. There may be a patch done for a solo game, but most of the time it is saved for "The Game 2" . Inside the MMO, there is many things being yanked on, which pull something else, that has to wait till someone finishes a project...etc)

There is not an ultimate patch that will make it all great for everyone. The patch needs to contribute to the growth of the game, be it new content, adjustments or fixed mistakes, but to make it a "Whoa this is some really great stuff" maybe a year or so down the road..looking back on those patches as a whole.

For me my time would be a year (so whatever patch comes out next January) is when they need to have their goals presents and adjustments made to be able to say..as a functioning MMO for a Star Wars storyline...this is where we want to be.. The rest of the stuff we will be adding content and not as much "fixing".

that was my plan to keep playing till d3..coudlnt do it anymore and had to uninstall the game lol. So sick of the crap they have in it.

1.2 was the deal maker or breaker for the game and i wasnt shocked when i loged in after updating the 1.2 patch. Realy the only thing from it came class buffs from all that hype for months on end..so dumb. This is the future on how they are going to treat this game. So why stay and deal with it in hopes for somthing good?

How bout a great raid zone?

its not going to matter becuase of how the game is desinged..i dont like it and i put up with it from the start.

What is the point of having an engery pool source if you cant use it as you see fit? Meaning spam your skill till its empty. Instead they put every damn skill on the same cool down except 1 skill depending the class your playing. Thats dumb and ontop of the that there is no auto attack while the cd is in effect so you are standing there like a dummie.

That is the tip of my iceberg. Many many more reasons why ive come to hate this game.

I actually started playing again due to 3 friends of mine wanting to try it out. But I feel my drive to wanting to play won't last much longer due to other games coming out soon. The game feels like a bootleg, coming soon banners all over the place. What's next, a coming soon marque?

The problem is, I'm the person that sticks it out till the bitter end and now they're starting to lose people like me. I looked forward to this game for years and it's very disappointing that it's failed like this. I'm sorry if he truth hurts, but I hope you and the rest of the people that stick around waiting for it to get better enjoy your time in-game.

That's the worse sign of all. There is nothing on the market right now to draw people away from SWTOR and they hemoraged 400,000 subs last quarter. How many are going to leave once GW2 actually launches? The good thing is that they won't wipe your crap away so if by some act of devine intervention they manage to get this back on track you an always give them another chance 6 or 12 months down the road.

I'm quite happy with the state of the game right now :) Sure, it has some problems and bugs, but I'm enjoying it!

Only thing I miss is Ranked Warzones and LFG, but I know it's coming soon :)

They need to decided what this games strength is suppose to be IMO.

The game was suppose to be about story and -reroll. A more casual style of MMO. But when you get to 50 the reward system is setup for 1 toon and heavy heavy grinding of gear in 4 warzones.

So i don't have time to play any other toons.

So all I have to do right now is 4 warzones.......And this means I start comparing these 4 warzones directly to what i could be doing in other games because I don't have time to do anything else in the game and it's not a good comparision for SW:ToR
