DarkJediMage Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 bw give us the ability to develop and execute add-ons. every mmo game i played had add-ons. why not swtor
Sigmaringen Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Yeah, I wouldn't mind some UI mods. When I played EQ2 people came up with some amazing UIs. Wouldn't mind seeing that here. I could definitely go for a different crafting window.
Cairenn Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 They've said previously that the UI is going to be customizable. We keep hoping. Sigmaringen, you know Dolby and I have opened up a site for SW:TOR as well, right? See sig.
DarkJediMage Posted December 18, 2012 Author Posted December 18, 2012 (edited) so far, no add-onapi feature. it is a shame. it would made this game more robust and generate some more interest in the game. especially on add-on clients like curse. my computer programming skills are at swtor's disposal if they tact the add-on api feature. i still playing swtor. DarkJediMage Posted March 5, 2013 Author Posted March 5, 2013 any news if the xpac has the add-on feature?
theUndead Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 any news if the xpac has the add-on feature? Short answer is no and thank goodness for that. The game does not need addons, just my opinion.
Atlantida Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 If you don't like add-ons, don't use them. I think add-ons is a great way to increase the community and customization of the UI.
theUndead Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 If you don't like add-ons, don't use them. I think add-ons is a great way to increase the community and customization of the UI. It actually doesn't matter because the devs are still AGAINST them and as I said rightly so. Wether you agree with me or not is irrelevant.
lukemsilver Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 An auctioneer would be sweet. Not having addons is like having a smart phone without apps.
Grimewax Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 The lack of add-on support is seriously disappointing.
DarkJediMage Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 if bioware wants to be competitive over the other mmos, they should have add-on support.
SWGEvictee Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I'm all for no add on support. The game is more than playable as is. I see no need to allow player tampering and shortcuts.
